This is dedicated to sassysmartgurl93! and she was the winner of my one shot! she is a great writer and is also AMAZING at covers/banners! You should go check her out RIGHT NOW! :)

The song on the side is, yes, in the chapter. I only put a few lines in the chapter but i would recomend listening to the song. I love the song and i feel like it does for in really well with the story! Also watching the video would be good- just so you know how they dance and the little jump and the end. Might come in handy(;

I didn't edit this so if you see any errors please tell me and i wll be sure to fix them!

Ch. 26

DEMTRI’S POV

The week went by painfully slow. Every minute seemed like an hour and every hour seemed like a day. The days were spent preparing for the wedding and the nights were spent trying to see Annie. In the whole week I had only seen her twice.

When one of us was at the bar than the other wasn’t.  Or I would come just after she left. Now was the time I wanted to see her the most. The wedding was becoming more and more real I wanted to spend all my time with her.

I knew that I was going to have to tell her soon.  I was a few short months away from becoming a married man. Today was Saturday; we are going on our first date. I made a promise to myself that I would tell her today. It had to happen and it had to happen soon.

I had wondered if this was going to be an alright date and now that I was here I knew it was wrong for me to worry. It was perfect. The air smelt of popcorn and hot dogs. I could hear music and children laughing and screaming. All around me people were running from: ride to ride, from person to person, and from stage to stage.

It was totally different from the castle and a perfect date for Annie.

It was only ten in the morning but the place was already packed. The rides where at the far end of the lot where the majority of the kids where. The carnival music was blaring but I could barely hear it over the screams of delights and peals of laughter. Closer to where I was standing they had set up a stage on the stage a band was playing old folk songs and western music. I couldn’t help the grin that spread across my face when an older couple got up and started dancing.

I’m not sure what it was that made me turn around in that instant but whatever it was, I’m glad I did. It seemed all though all the noises around me stopped. Even though the sun was in my eyes I wanted to take off my glasses just so I could see her better; so I could see Annie better.

As she stepped onto the fairgrounds my eyes immediately went to her legs. I had seen the before but somehow in day light they look so much longer, leaner, and tanner. On her feet were a pair of bright red TOMS and she wore a shorts that were short enough met me excited but long enough to be appropriate around little kids. She was wearing a blue blouse that clinched at her tiny waist; the waist that I had wrapped my arms around before and longed to again.
