Chapter 1

Something was'nt right. It was to quiet in my neighborhood.....Way to quiet. There was usually always old people out on their yawns talking, or men out mowing the lawns, or dogs barking. I feel a sence of dread filling my gut. I looked back out my 5 year old nephew, that i had just picked up at school, he looked concerned as well. I pulled up my drive to see my step-dad leaning over the pile of wood by our back door trying to reach something. As i pulled up he whip around.....What the fuck?! His eyes were black a night, his usually tan skin was white as snow. I left my car running as I slowly stepped out of my car. "Stay here....lock the doors". I told my nephew, he nodded. I closed my door carefully. My step-dads eyes never left mine as he sort of shuffled over towards me. "Daddy"? He let out a growl, showing his now sharpened to a pointed teeth. I back up and quickly opened the door to the house. "Mom? MOMMA??!" I screeched as i saw her literally devouring my sisters leg. My sister was screaming. "Jena get Carson and Corbin and get out of here"!!!!!! I ran passed my mother and into my room I grab Carson and my dog then ran down stairs to grab me Corbin and Carson's bug out bags. See my mom knew something like this would happen.....I should've believed her. After grabbing the bags I ran back outside. I saw the door was opened to my car. "Noooo! CORBIN! WHERE ARE YOU"?! "Sissy I got Buster." I whipped around to find him caring our cat. I as well saw my...Dad still shuffling towards us getting faster and faster by each second. "Corbin get in the car now"! He hurriedly got in the car as I quickly got Carson in his car seat, placing my dog in the back seat as well and peeled out of the drive way. By now i was in tears. I didn't know where to go. Suddenly an old lady walk in front of my car. I screamed. Her jaw was hanging off and her leg was bent in the wrong direction i swerved my car when i almost hit her. What the fuck is going on. I drove by my parents store and saw people smashing the windows. They were all adults and they all were zombies.
