Green-eyed Lady.

Her name was Catherine Green. She was my best friend. And now she's dead. And it all my fault.

My name is Thomas Tapp, my friends call me tommy. Catherine came up with that nickname.

Let me explain how it is a my school. Im the captin of the football team I date the prettiest girls on the cheerleadinq team and I dont even like them. I do what people to exepect me to do. I get staright A's in school and tell my frined's i get staright D's to be "Popular" or you can say keeping my status.

Catherine was different. She was the weird girl that nobody liked.

Well except me. I liked her.

She's smart and kinda geeky. She has black long hair and beautiful green eyes. I somtimes call her Kitty because how intense her eye color is.

It was any regular sunday night and my friends were havinq a small party. Amy,Cassie,Joe,Trent,Me,and this time i invited Catherine. Big Mistake.

We were in a small motel room with a twin bed and a small little coffe table withsharp edges. We all sat around it.Catherine looked uncomfortable. I could tell. She hadnt touched her drink. I could see why i took one sniff and i could tell it pure achool.

"Tommy Can you give me a ride home? Im kinda tired and i told my mom I'd be back soon" She said. 

"OKay. Sure. Im gonna go warm up the car. See ya in a few" I said. But I didnt think of my careless words.

I put on my winter coat and went outside to start up my car.  

I put the key in the ignition and turned it on. I rubbed my hands together. In the middle of winter in Utah outside at night isnt a very pleasant place to be.

I looked in the window of the small motel room to Trent in Catherine's face. I watched horrified as he grabbed her arms and pinned them to the bed.

I wanted to go in there and beat the crap out of him but my feet wouldnt listen to my head.

She bit him, he let her go. Then she threw a bottle at his leg and it shattered. "You Bitch!" He yelled. Then he pushed her down leaving her no room to fall but the edge of the small wooden table.

"Get up Catherine"I thought hurridly. All the blood raced out of my body, but i ran in the motel. Catherine was face down, blood leaking out a gash in her head. I started crying. "What the hell man?!" I said. He looked drunk and horrified. Amy and Casie both started sobbing. "Is she dead?" Cassie whispered. It was quiet. Deathly quiet. Joe got up and put two fingers on Catherine's neck. "No pulse" He said. 

Amy and Cassie erupted with even more sobs, but heavier than the first ones. Silent tears came out of my eyes."Why? WHY?! YOU KILLED HER!"i YELLED.  

"wHAT DO WE DO NOW?" i ADDED. " We've gotta bury her" Joe said. "No. I cant do it! I wont!" I yelled. "Well your gonna have to unless you want all of us go to prison man. And I aint going back there." He said. "Im so sorry" Trent said.

"You should be!" I yelled. My heart felt like it was going to burst. 

We wrapped her body in black garbage bags. and put her in Amy's truck.

We drove out in the part of the woods no one goes to. 

Trent and Joe dug a hole about 8ft deep. WE put her body in the hole. "A moment of silence" Joe said. 

We were all quiet. "Now we have to make a pact that we dont ever tell anyone. Agreed?" He said. Amy and Cassie were still sobing. We all nodded. "Im sorry" Cassie mumured and snatched somthing off her neck and threw it on the body. A silver cross.

The next day at school. We were in class. None of them rembered a thing. Except me. I was pale, and my hair was sticking staright up.

Then a girl walked in.

But she wasnt just any girl she was a goddess. She had full, wavy pretty black hair, she wore sunglasses,but she was still worth a thousand words.

She had curves in places i didnt know girls could have curves, she had full lips, and deep dreamy dimples. 

She stood at the door looking lost.  

Mrs. Host Said "Um take off those sunglasses and have a seat" She said.

The girl slowly took off the sunglasses.

She had beautiful green eyes. Like cat eyes.....

"What's your name new girl?" The teacher asked. 

" Im not new" She said in a velvet voice. "Oh what's your name then?" The teacher said. 

"Catherine. Catherine Green."

My eyes nearly popped outta my head.
