More Than This (One Direction FanFic) [ON HOLD]

Kendals' POV

I was sitting next to Harry and we were really close together, the sides of our bodies were litterally smooshed. It felt so right sitting like this.. I fonly he didn't have that bitch of a girlfriend, then everything would be perfect. I was giggling at one of the many jokes that Harry had told me when Dani just got up and started walking back to the house. I exused myself from Harry and started walking after.

I don't even think she noticed that I followed her, cause when we got inside she just walked to her room and closed the door. I slowly opened it up to find her searching through her small light blue carry-on.

"Umm Dani, what are you doing?" I asked her. Did she need to change more than once today or something?

"I'm trying to find something to wear on mine and Zayns date, but I have nothing to wear!" She told me throwing her clothing filled hands in the air.

"I'm sure you have something to wear sweetie! Let me just take a look and i'll find you something." I started searching through her bag and imeadiately found her a cute Hollister sundress that was white and floral patterns on the hem. I grabbed a pair of green sandals for her to wear with it.

"Here!" I handed her the outfit. "Go change into this."

"Thanks so much Kendal, you're a life saver."

I walked back outside and plopped down in the sand next to Harry, and he scooted closer to me and grabbed my hand. I sighed happily and rested my head on his shoulder. I really wish that he would notice me in a different way, other than just the best friend. I was so in love with him, wasn't it obvious? I'm pretty sure everyone else saw it, he's just so freaking oblivous sometimes... and I thought I was the blonde one.

Right then Dan walked outside with the outfit that I told her on. She looked absolutely amazing, Zayn really was a lucky guy. I just hope he knows that.

-Danielles' POV-

 Right as I walked back to the fire everyones eyes were on me. Did I get something on my face?? Oh gosh that would be so embarassing"You look beautiful Dani." Zayn told me, getting up and walking towards the place that I had stopped. He took my hand in his and then lifted it up, kissing the top of it softly. I immediately blushed bright red like a fire truck."Thanks.." I murmured. He always makes me so nervous.

I hope I look alright. I didn't want to screw up this date, it is our first one after all. Zayn looked amazing as always in a pair of tan chinos and a plain white t-shirt. He looked casual, but boy could he wear the hell out of those pants. "We should get going shouldn't we? Wouldn't wanna miss what I've got planned." He winked.I took his hand in mine and we started walking down the beach. "Where are we going?" I questioned. "That's a secret that I choose not to tell." He smirked.

-Harry's POV-

I was starting to feel really sleepy, but I didn't want to go to bed. Talking to Kendal felt so right, I just wanted to do it all night long. Now that i've realized my true feelings for her, everything I do has to be carefully coordinated. She can't realize the truth, our friendship would be ruined if that happened. And living without her is like humans without air. Impossible. It's corny but true.

"Harry, you should get to bed, you've gotta be tired." She said with that cute little country twang in her voice. She was from somewhere down south in America and that's how she got it, it was honestly the cutest thing ever. Oh god, I'm starting to sound like a woman!

Her long blonde hair was splayed out behind her and her hazel eyes sparkled in the fire light, you could see all of the flecks of gold and green perfectly. Her full lips were slightly parted and they looked do kissable.

I literally had to force myself to not kiss her then and there, it was so tempting. "I guess we should go inside." My voice cracked slightly. God damn hormones. Why did I have to choose now to get excited? I looked down at her lips and then back up to her twinkling eyes.
