April’s POV

My body… it hurts. I can feel my insides burning. It hurts so much. I can’t even open my eyes. I have no strength in me at all. In my mind I can see everything though. It’s as if I’m using my other senses to paint out a picture. I’m in the room under the stairs. Why though?

 I tried to sit myself up, but there was a force pushing me down. The energy was flowing through me but it wasn’t as painful. I guess this is the way I’m supposed to feel. The good thing is that I’m still alive. I could be dead right now. But even as I’m in this state I can feel myself tingle. I need pleasure. This may be a problem.

“April are you okay?” I heard a voice ask. It was male.

I could only groan at the sound. I know it wasn’t Jake’s so it had to be Jasper. Where is Jake?

“April I need you to open your eyes. You need to let the energy go through your eyes. Your body needs to release some of the energy before you store too much. Open your eyes.”

It was hard but I started to open my eyes. It was hard to let the light in. Everything was much brighter now. I could sense the energy from everything. “Are you okay April?”

“I’m fine. Can you get me some food?” I asked.

Jazz nodded and left and Jenna stayed by my side. “Jenna where am I?”

She blushed and stepped back. Now this can’t be good. “Well you’re in the common room under the stairs.”

“Why aren’t I with Jake in our room?”

“Well he… Um… I don’t know how to tell you this.”

I shot up off the couch. “What are you trying to say? What’s going on?”

“Well Jake is in the room with other girls. He left you with us last night and we had to get you home ourselves.”

My fists were clutched at my sides; I could feel my ears technically steaming. He left me while I was under a trance. I’m going to kill him. My dress changed until it was strapless, short, and skin tight. Perfect for a fight.

“April you can’t attack him. You may kill him if you aren’t able to control yourself.” Jenna pleaded.

“If I kill him then so be it. He’s an asshole for doing this to me. I’m his damn fiancée. Can he respect that?”

I launched myself out the room and towards the stairs. He’s going to pay for what he’s done to me. I ran through the halls until I got to the room. I could hear shuffling and giggle on the other side of the door. I knocked on it and I heard even more giggles. “Who is it? If it’s one of my brothers or my sister then leave me alone. I’m busy.”

I placed my hand on the knob and it started to melt under my touch. I don’t care though. I need to get this done. “Didn’t you hear me? I said I was… April? Oh hey baby. How did you sleep?”

I crossed my arms and looked over the three girls on the bed. “It seems you had fun last night. You had a nice warm bed and I was on a couch. I suggest you get these girls out of here before things start to happen.”

“I didn’t know you ordered another girl to join us. I mean four girls should be too much for any guy to handle. You really are amazing.” One girl purred as she kissed on his chest.

I could feel myself growing angrier but I know I have to control this power. “Don’t worry about this. You girls can have him. Enjoy yourself Jacob.”

I walked toward the room I shared with Jasper and gathered up clothes. I called for Jasper and Jenna to help me carry everything out. They came right away with a luggage cart. As we were leaving I changed into a pair of shorts, a tank top, and a pair of over the knee boots. “Where do you think you’re going, April?”

I looked back at him. Well he was wearing boxers but he looked pissed off. “I’m leaving. I’ll find somewhere to go. I mean it’s not like a girl like me will be on the streets for long. Goodbye Jacob. Have fun with your bimbos.”

I turned and strutted down the hall. I may have been bought but I’m not going to let these people control me. My hand touched the front door knob and there was a hand wrapped around my other wrist. “Where do you think you’re going?”

I turned to see Tony, glaring at me. He only had a pair of sweatpants on and he was not that attractive. “I can hear you, you know.”

“Sorry. But it’s the truth. I see you and Lily got it on. How was it?”

“You didn’t answer my question though. Where do you think you’re going?”
