CHAPTER 1
I didn't know what to do. I only knew I had to run away as fast as I could. She was coming, the immortal. She never had pity for the humans, only thirst. That savaged monster would do anything to get what she wanted and would destroy everything that got in her way. If she seized me, my life would be over and no future would be awaiting me. She only cared for herself and her unwanted kind. Tonight she desired me, wanted my blood and my living soul. I was only eighteen years old and I was too young to die. I had a life ahead of me and I didn't want her to snatch it away. She already killed my family, my friends and my boyfriend. They were the only people I cared for in the entire world. Now, they were gone. I saw the scene that will traumatize me forever. She drained the blood out of their bodies slowly and painfully. They will never come back all because of her. If I could have done anything I would of, but I was too weak to fight against that cold-blooded vampire. I hated her, but I knew she was too fast and strong. I was going to die, but I told myself that it didn't matter anymore. I had no hope or faith.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps on the cement of the road. My breath quickened and I started to panic. I examined my surrounding trying to find a hiding place, but I knew she would find me in an instant. I turned around and looked to see if she had arrived.

ling with her long black hair blowing in her face. She was beautiful, but in a scary way because of the paleness of her skin.
"The cat caught up with the mouse." She said sneering as she looked at me. She put her head up high and started to laugh as she crossed her arms together.
"Wh-what do y-you want?" I asked as my blood froze in my veins.
"Andrea... I want you dead. I want to see you take your last breath. I want to see your soul mate die from a heartbreak, but I know he can't. Oh yes, I forgot. He can't die because he isn't a mortal, like you."
"S-soul ma-mate?"
"Would you stop stuttering, you sound weak! Yes, soul mate. It means the other half of a being. Never heard about it before?" She came up close to me and scratched me hard on the face. I could feel my blood going down my cheek and tears started to form in my eyes.
"Aww, poor baby. I thought you were stronger then that, but I presume I was wrong! Immature human." She said as she put a finger on my scratch and took a drop of my blood. She put her finger close to her mouth and licked it.
"You taste delicious, no wonder why he is yours... I won't kill you. Not now, not today. I will give you time to recover and I'll come back to finish you off. You'rProxy-Connection: keep-alive

one that's going to take him away from me! I love him and you will suffer!" She whispered as she backed away into the trees before I could say anything else. From a distance I could hear her laugh uncontrollably.
I knew I was lucky I survived, but I didn't want any of this. I wanted to die from what I had experienced. She said that she would come back and she will. I sat down on the hard road in a ball and started to cry. Why did she take me and not the others? Who was she talking about? Before I could find any answers to these questions, I fell asleep.
CHAPTER 2
I woke up, but I didn't know where I was. I didn't want to open my eyes, scared that something unexpected would happen. The only information I had was that I was placed on a warm and comfy bed. Not enough brave to peek, I rummaged my hands to see if anybody was there too. With some relief, I only felt pillows. I opened my eyelids slowly and took a sharp breath. I have never seen a place so clean and beautiful in my life. I was in a humongous room with golden walls and gorgeous furniture. This must be a suite, not many people could have afforded such expenses. I closed my eyes again because I was certain this wasn't real, only my stupid imagination. I reopened them carefully a short time later figuring out that I was wrong. Who brought me to this wonderful place? Why am I here? What happened last night?
My uncertainties were quickly answered as my memories came back to me. The blood... The creature... My family... My heart broke into tinny pieces and I started to cry. Maybe she should come right now and kill me, I wasn't worth it. Maybe she wanted me to suffer mentally and physically before draining me out of blood.
With a bit of respect towards the ones I loved, I decided to calm down and to stop my bawling. I must wait and see what the future will give me, it was the only thing I could do.
Suddenly, the handle of the wooden door rotated violently to the right. Was it her? Will she kill me? Torture me? I hid under the navy blue covers waiting for pain to come. I heard the door creak and loud footsteps started to form on the marbled floor. Panic raged through me and I moved to the far end of the king bed.
"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." A masculine voice said.
"How can I know that? Get away!" I replied with fright.
"I hate lying and don't worry, your safe with me." He said, as the sound of his shoes got closer to the bed. The covers that hid my face was pulled down and then I gasped...
