Look at the beautiful banner GabbyCianci made for me! I love it soo much, thankyou! <3

I still held onto his jacket like this was some weird dream.

He loved me.

This was all I ever wanted…right?

I took in his scent, he always smelled like the summertime. I wanted so badly to just let myself fall into his arms and stay like this forever. I wanted things to go back to normal. But I couldn’t.

There were too many scars….too many memories to erase. There’s no way we could just start back where we left off. I knew that.

“You need time.” He pulled me away as his eyes searched mine. “I know it’s a lot to ask of you.”

I nodded looking away. “I can’t just forget everything after just one kiss.” “I can’t just act like nothing happened.”

He walked past me and opened the door. “I’ll understand whatever decision you make.”

As the door closed behind him I picked up the ice-cream that was now melting all over the wooden floor. I grabbed the spoon and scooped up a non melted chunk and stuffed it in my mouth. I didn’t even take notice at how gross I was being. I simply slumped into my living room couch and put in the Lion King 1 ½. I just felt so tired, tired of everything. But I needed some serious advice, so I called the only person I could even think of.

“Is!” Chris’s bubbly voice filled my phone. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever. What’s up?”

I sighed. “Boys.”

She didn’t even miss a beat. “I’ll come right over.”

In 15 minutes I heard someone knock on the door. By then I had atleast cleaned up the mess by the door and had already made some hot chocolate (with marshmallows) for the both of us. In the T.V. I had changed movies to something more…appropriate. I turned my couch into a bed and laid pillows out all over the floor. Definitely sleepover worthy.

I opened the door and Chris nearly tackled me to the floor.

“I’ve missed you so much! I don’t know what happened between you and Justin but he wouldn’t let me answer any of your calls. All he ever did was mope. It started to even affect his cooking, God last night’s fish fillet was a little TOO crispy…”

I laughed. “Chris! You’re rambling again.”

She giggled. “Yea you’re right.” She placed her bag on the kitchen counter and plopped herself on one of the pillows by the t.v. “So want to tell me what the bleep is going on with you and Justin?”

I sat next to her, grabbing the chocolate and taking a sip. “He kissed me.”

She raised an eyebrow as a small smirk crept onto her lips. “It’s about flipping time.”

My eyes widened in shock. “ You knew?”

She nodded. “And I’m guessing by how sad he was when he came home, you rejected him. Which I completely understand, it was too soon. I kept telling that idiot to wait but nooo.”

I felt a weight hit my heart at just the memory of his face. I never wanted to see him hurt like that again, especially if it was my fault. But what could I have done? I'm even more confused then I was before.

“But he’s going out with Cammie now.”

This time she was the one who was surprised. “What are you talking about? Justin’s head over heels in love with you.”
