"Tiff get your sorry-"
"I heard it already, asshole! You tell me the same thing every damn morning so shut your flippin trap! I have an alarm clock for a reason, stupid!" I yelled, cutting Jason off.
I jump a little as the the door swings open, banging against the wall. Jason grabs me by my arm, his eyes flaming with fury. I smirk.
"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," I commented. He slapped me. Eh, I was used to it, it didn't hurt that much.
"How dare you speak to the future beta like that!" he growled.
"How dare you treat your own sister like that!" I spat back at him before ripping my arm away from him and walking out the door.
I went into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. I leaned against the counter and took a bite. Olivia was standing there, smirking, and Aaron was just behind, not even acknowledging my prescense. My wolf whimpered at this.
Aw, suck it up, we deserve better than him, I thought gently to her.
I know, it just, she trailed off.
Don't worry, we'll find someone better... maybe... I replied.
But he's supposed to be the best! she wailed.
Well, he obviously isn't, I snorted.
You're right, she sighed.
Of course I am, I smiled. She seemed to be in a happier mood now. My wolf and I are best friends.
"Well, well, well, someone finally found out how to eat healthy," Olivia sniffed, looking at my apple. I smiled.
"You did?" I asked innocently. Her eyes darkened and I could see her mind race as she attempted to find a decent comeback.
"Uh," was her smart reply.
"Nice comeback," I replied smoothly before standing up and throwing away the core. I could feel Aaron's eyes bore into the back of my head as I made my way to the door. It took a lot of willpower not to look behind me. I heard Olivia whine to him, saying I was a bitch and whatever. I got into the passenger side of the car and waited for Jason to get in. He finally did.
"What the hell was that sass this morning?" he snapped as he pulled out of the driveway.
"Just giving you a taste of your own medicine," I replied emotionless. He looked over at me, frustration etched into his face. I flipped him the bird and gazed out the window. The car swerved.
"Shit!" I groaned. I saw Jason glowering at me.
"I will not tolerate this disrespect," he growled.
"Oh, and I can? Because I'm a fat, lazy bitch? Well here's a news flash for you. You know as sure as hell that I ain't fat, hell, I'm actually skinny from losing my appetite because of you assholes, and I definetly am not lazy because I have better grades than you and all your fluff-brained friends combined! I worked my ass off to get them too! So don't you dare think that for one more second I'm going to put up with all your bullshit!" I yelled. Before he could reply, I lowered my voice.
"Pull over," I ordered.
"Wha-" he began.
"Pull over," I repeated. He complied. I opened the door and slammed it.
"Forget giving me a ride, since you hardly give them anyways," I snapped before walking off in the direction of the school.
"Hey ugly!" some random bitch sneered at me. I flipped her off and kept walking, ignoring the gasps of outrage.
"Tiff," a deep voice called from behind me. I halted for a second, then continued walking. Aaron finally caught up with me.
"Tiffany," he said sternly. I looked up at him, an annoyed expression written all over my face.
"What?" I snapped. He frowned.
"I didn't like the way you treated Olivia this morning," he said in the same tone.
"Oh really? Well, that's too bad. Do you give her pep talks as well ever time she bitches off to me?" I ask. He opened his mouth, but then closed it. I smiled a thin-lipped smile.
"I though so," I said tightly then stalked off. I heard a growl when suddenly Aaron lunges at me.
