Into the Shadows

I took a deep breath before entering the stage. I plastered on a big smile and yelled to the crowd, "Hello California! How are you doing this fine night?"  They answered with screaming, while I started the first song. It was called Six Gun Quota. (Actual song, by Seether!) We rocked out for about an hour, and I yelled, "'Night California!" Our drummer took his drumsticks and threw it to the crowd. Two lucky people caught them, and they cheered loudly. I gave the crowd a peace sign, and waved. I heard the annaoucer say, "And that was Into The Shadows! Next up is My Chemical Romance!" I high-fived the drummer, Mike, and said, "Great night!" He grinned at me, and said, "Sure was, Chad!" Mike and I were brothers. I gave Alex, our bassist a man hug, and grinned at him. "That. Was. A. Awesome. Night!" he said. "I know right!" I exclaimed. I then hugged Jay, our guitarist. "Great job!" I said grinning. He grinned back. He was the quietest person in our band. Our band consisted of Mike, our drummer, Jay, our guitarist, Alex, our bassist, and me, Chad the lead singer. We hopped into the tour van, and drove to our temporary home. We didn't stay in one place too long; after all, we had to get more popular! Right now, we were in Hollywood, California. We drove up to our rented house, and unloaded our trunk. We all helped with the drums, and then Jay and Alex took their instruments.

I yawned and flopped down on my bed. It was 12:00am, we were the second to last band; there were 5 bands. I quickly fell asleep, wondering about highschool the next day.

My alram clock rang loudly and I quickly shut it off, and rolled out of bed. I quickly took a shower, and I got dressed, in jeans and a MCR shirt that I got the night before. I ran downstairs to make breakfast, and then said hello to the band. "Hello!" I said, well more like yelled upstairs. I heard a few people groaning, and a few hitting the floor. I flipped the last pancake onto the plate, and started to eat. Everyone, except me, ran downstairs quickly ate a pancake, and then ran back upstairs brush their teeth. I, however, ate faster than everyone, and had already brushed my teeth and was tossing the keys to myself. I grinned at the band, and walked out to the van. "I call shotgun!" Alex yelled, as we ran to the car. I slid into the front seat, buckled my seat belt as the others slid into their seats or slamming the doors shut. I drove calmly to Sequoia High. I parked the van in Sequoia High's parking lot, and walked to the office. "Hello! We are the new students, Chad Rivera, Alex Bliss, Mike Rivera, and Jay Saxon. May we have our schedules?" She nodded and handed us our schedules. I looked at all of them, and handed them out. "Yeah! Our schedules are exactly the same, and our lockers are next to each other!" I said. I heard a fan girl squeal, and, "OMG! Into the Shadows!" "Crap! Guys, follow me to first period!" I said, my voice getting slightly louder. We started to run towards science, the fan girls running after us. We opened the door to science, and slid into some empty seats, all conveniently next to each other. The bell rang, and the teacher said, "Students, we have four new students, Alex, Chad, Jay, and Mike!" We stood up, and I said, "I'm Chad." Mike said, 'I'm Mike." Jay said, "I'm Jay." Alex said, "And I'm Alex, and we're all in a band, called Into the Shadows!" We sat down, letting the others chat about us. The teacher droned on and on, and we just contented ourselves with listening to the people whisper about us.

The bell rang, and we walked out of the class room, and to Math. We heard some whispers around us, and I kept a smile on my face. We walked into the classroom, and the teacher almost dropped her in shock. I gave her a wave, and walked to four seats next to each other. The bell rang, and the teacher said, "We have four new students today." We stood up, and some fan girl squeals erupted form the classroom. We introduced oursleves like we did before. We sat back down, and actually listened this time. The teacher was nice, and pretty awesome. After 5 more periods, it was time for lunch, and we headed towards the cafeteria, and saw a stampede of students with pieces of paper and a pencil or pen. I started to walk a little faster, and sat down at a empty table and offered to bring everyone their lunch. They all agreed, and I got up and waited in line for biit, and I saw the rest of the band answering questions, and few signing autographs. I mentally groaned. This was going to be a long lunch.
