~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

There once was a land of tranquil nature. With in it contained a small village called Ridorii. Everyone lived in peace in this little village.

The people who occupied it were extraordinary and all controlled elements. You had the people of the fire, water, earth, wind, sun and moon.

They all lived in peace, until the darkness came. The darkness conquered whoever it wished to destroy but no one knew of its powers.

"Momma! Isn't it a beautiful day" the little girl of the water giggled.

"Indeed it is my dear" The mother of the water stated with a smile.

All of the village came to life that day. Children were playing, mothers were singing and fathers and elders were doing chores in the city of Ridorii.

Then a great shadow fell over the land and dark red eye figures came from the eastern side of the village.

"What is the meaning of this?!" cried in terror.

"We have come for all who control lightning." the lead dark figure spoke up with a booming voice.

All who controlled lightning scattered and dispersed, but little do they know their village has been surrounded.

Eventually the darkness and it's beings took all who controls lightning away.

"momma" said a child of the fire "why did they take the people of the lightning away?"

"I don't know dear but we mustn't worry." said a mother of the fire.

And so life continued as free-spirited as was before the darkness came.

A few months later the darkness returned and called upon the people of the water to be taken away.

"But I don't wanna go mommy!" cried the little girl of the water.

"We must go my child, and I assure you. Everyone will be fine" the mother of the water calmly said to her child before being taken by the darkness along with her people.

Later that night the child of the fire asked the father of the fire "Daddy. Why did the darkness take the people of the water away?"

The father hesitated but stated "The darkness takes whatever it likes. We can't stop him or his people. But all will end well my good child."

Sighing the child couldn't help but feel this wasn't really true. So he laid in bed and fell asleep.

The next month the people of the earth, fire, wind, sun and moon had a festival for fall harvest.

Little did they know the darkness and his comrades came in disguise.

Seeing one of the strangers the child ran for his life. He came across the village leader and warned him of the danger.

"They have come again! Warn everyone mister!" the child of the fire cries.

"Nonsense the darkness hasn't bothered us in months! Off with your foolish self!" the leader said without fear.

Nevertheless, the darkness yet again took two more groups away unnoticed until the end of the festival.

A year has passed and only two elemental groups survive.

"Father." says the young man of the fire. "how come no one is trying to stop this madness?"

The father, now white haired with age, sat up from his bed and looked at his son "The darkness takes what it wants. Be glad it isn't us." is all he manages to rasp out before coughing hoarsely.

Sighing the young man of the fire sat on his bed as his wife the woman of the moon laid beside him fast asleep. He sat there in deep thought. It had been a month since the darkness came and took the people of the sun. Sighing once more he fell asleep.

A few hours later he was abruptly awoken by his wife's disappearance. Looking around he saw blood drops on the floor and combat boot prints.

"My wife.... They... Took her?!" he sobbed as he fell to his knees at a pool of crimson blood.

Life continued as normal for a few more weeks but again, was short lived. As the end of the month drew near the young man of the fire checked on the rest of the people of the fire.

People were on edge but still they did nothing, afraid they might die. But life continued. Then the day came, darkness showed up and took the remaining elemental people.

They walked. Mile after mile. People fell with exhaustion and the men of the darkness pulled them aside as the rest were pushed forward. The young man led them along side the man of darkness cautiously until they arrived at a peaceful looking place.

"We have brought you to your new home as your leader asked." The first man of the darkness spoke.
