I ran and ran.

For a second you would have assumed I was the gingerbread man.

Thoughts of Elijah’s lips pressed against mine were the only thing on my mind…and I hated it! I barely know him for one thing, plus he seems to be trying to get too close to me for my liking. I will not allow him to continuing squeezing into my life. I refuse allowing an additional person to hurt me…..I can’t take it. I can hardly deal with Xavier and Kayla making my life a living hell as it is.

My plan is to finish high school as soon as possible, graduate and leave. I don’t have time for anyone else torturing me. Ughh things are always so complicated for me. Parts of me actually wanted Eli to kiss me again and I despised those thoughts. I can’t be thinking things like that.

I don’t know how much time passed but I finally made it to my house. I checked to see if anyone was home and it must have been some kind of miracle because no one was home. I headed towards my room and got in my bed. In no time a much needed sleep overcame me. Today had been a long day.

The next morning I woke up I noticed something. Last night was the first time I had gotten a full nights rest without someone terrorizing me. I walked out my room and went to the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. After I finished, I noticed the house was silent. I quickly looked around and noticed no one was home. Not a single person. Hmm that’s weird. they must have went somewhere with our "Parents".  Oh well. I caught the bus to school and when I arrived I received the same treatment I normally do. Laughs and name calling. I tried my best to ignore everything and everyone which i succeeded doing until it was time to go to 1st period. As I quietly made my way towards the back of the classroom and sat down, I looked up to see HIM staring at me. Eli. His gaze brought butterflies to my stomach. He didn’t break focus with me until about a minute or so later. The whole class period he kept throwing glances my way. Luckily none of my classmates seemed to notice. I proceeded throughout the day with few problems. That all came to an end when the bell rang signaling school was over. Everyone was gone and I was taking my sweet time leaving because I figured Xavier and Kayla would be home by now. As I approached the exit door , a coarse hand gripped my waist and pulled me towards a secluded corner. Fingers began forcefully rubbing under my shirt and a hand gripped my ass so hard i yelped out loud. A menacing voice then whispered in my ear , “I missed you, me and my girlfriend broke up , so you know what that means . We’re gunna have some fun tonight. Be ready bitch”. I was then roughly pushed onto the floor. I listened to the footsteps stomp away. Xavier had a way with words huuh? I hate him so much. His tone of voice seemed angry which is not good for me at all. Whenever he and Sarah fought he would punish me BAD as if it was my fault. He saying they broke up though was something new and I already figured what ever happened tonight would not turn up good.

I hadn’t noticed someone standing in front of me. It was Elijah. He had an angry look on his face and for a second I flinched and cowered back. His facial expression softened when he noticed my action and he held out his hand to help me up. I hesitantly took it and he began to speak.  “I knew somebody was hurting you. I saw everything just now. The look of terror on your face. The tears streaming down your cheeks. That asshole pushing you. Everything” I had no response. What was I supposed to say? I wanted to deny it and say I wasn’t being harmed in any way but for some reason, lying to him seemed wrong. 

“Let me help you” were the next words that left his mouth and for once in my life I decided to take a chance. This is how I ended up in Elijah's house again for the second time in just 2 days.

   

sorry for not updating often, imma try to make a schedule so i can have time to write. i enjoy writing this story and i hope all you guys like reading it. anyways leave some comments feedback anything. what do you think about little miss cassie going to alex's house? you think she made a good decision or not. ohh by the way i added some changed to the story. in previous chapters i attempted to edit spelling and grammar mistakes (if you say any more comment and let me know pleaseee) and i also added little inspirational quotes that correspond with the story at the beginning of each chapter.
