Destined. ~Chapter 2~

"Kenzie I just am not sure about this dress." I told her as i held it up on the hanger to examine it.

"Stop Worrying Anna you will look absolutely amazing in that dress." she told me as she slipped off her pajamas and began to get ready for my party.

"I can not believe today is my 21st birthday." I told her as i went into the bathroom to change. I left the door cracked just enough so we could talk back and forth.

"I know girl your so lucky I just turned 20 I still have a long way to go." Kenzie said with a hint of sadness

"I am a little scared though what if I find my mate tonight I dont know if I am ready for that just yet." I told her as i slipped my dress over my head.

"If you find your mate tonight you will be ready!" Kenzie told me with a burst of confidence

"Its just a little scary to think that all of our pack and all of the neighboring packs will be at my party tonight." I told her as i plugged in my curling iron and straightener.

"Hun you will be amazing and no one will be able to keep their eyes off of you in that dress."

"I just dont want to fall on my face or something and embarass my self in front of everyone." I told her as I sat down at my vanity to do my make up.

"Anna listen to me when I tell you everything will be ok just breathe."

"Ok I will take your word for it." I told her as I got my make up bag out of my vanity.

"Hun I left my make up at home I am going to run by there do my hair and make up and I will be right back." she said.

A few minutes later I heard the door to my bedroom open and close. Wow I was really nervous about tonight. I cant believe I am 21 it feels like yesterday I was turning 18 and shifting for the first time. Now I am old enough to find my mate. The one person that I will not be able to resist after tonight, I will look at him and my heart will beat like crazy, my blood will boil, and my inner wolf will start to go crazy longing to touch him. When you first see your mate you pick up on their scent, then you touch, and then after you make love for the first time the process will be complete. I wonder what my older brother is going to wear after all he will be the one presenting me to the packs. Its sort of like a coming into woman hood ceremony because werewolves do not become mature until their 21st birthday. I seriously hope that nothing goes wrong tonight I thought to myself as I straightened my bangs, and curled the rest of my hair. It did not take long before I was done with my make up and hair. Standing up I looked in my wall mirror on my bathroom door. Wow was that really me I thought as I looked at the girl in the mirror. My long black hair rested on my shoulders in perfect spiral curls, My blue eyes were highlighted by my baby blue eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner. My dress royal blue tafetta ball gown clung to my figure in all the right places. I looked like cinderella. Now all I have to do is slip on my baby blue high heels and I will be finished.

"Ummm umm." I heard someone clear their throat and I jumped about ten feet into the air.

"Wow." said tyler as I turned around to face him.

"Dont pick on me now." I said the whole time looking at the floor.

"No your really Gorgeous I may pick on you a lot sometimes its just because I ......... never mind." he stuttered.

"Because you what?" I asked him curiously

"I like you." he mumbled under his breath.

"You What!!!!!!!" I said looking up to meet his eyes. and that is when it happened it started to get hot in my bedroom, my mind started racing, and I couldnt do anything but stare at Tyler.
