"Holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."

                       ~buddha

Dear Angel,

Why is it that we always hurt the one's who only have the intent of helping us? Because it seems that is all I've been doing, my entire life.

When we got in that argument, I didn't think it would escalate to what it did; screaming and throwing things and hateful words that neither of us truly meant.

Now, looking back on it, I can see you were only trying to help. But, I didn't want help; I wanted to do it on my own for once.

And now, you've walked out the door.

As always,

Ash
