Chapter 2:
“No, look, its okay, she will never know” I heard Ramair say into the phone, before hanging it up. I tiptoed over to him wrapping my strong pale arms around his neck.
“What was that all about?” I asked him, in the complete darkness, but I could still see everything as clear as day.
“Nothing, Nothing” He lied.
“How dare you lie to me!” I said, tightening my grip around his neck.
“And you know that I know when ever you are lying to me! Just wait, I will figure this out!” I let go and ran out the door, and jumped over the river, barefoot.
I skipped into the town of Monosgrove, spotting a ghostly figure across the street, with its back turned. The person turned around. Yep, This was definitely a vampire! Red glowing eyes, ghostly features.
Must be a newborn! I thought. But who could have created her? After all, Ramair and Myself were the only 2 vampires on Earth, I supposed.
“Helloo” She hissed, turning towards me.
“Ahh, you must be a newborn! Mind telling me your creator?” I asked, anxious.
“Yes, I am a newborn, and I’m so terribly sorry, I can’t remember his name, I’m Gloria, By the way” she hissed as she shook my hand.
“Adrianna.” I nodded.
“He?” I questioned.
“Yes,” Gloria replied.
“So, is there anyone else... like you?” I asked
“Yes, follow me” She hissed, leading me to a grave yard, north of Monosgrove.
Off in the distance, I noticed a tunnel, Gloria led me over to it, me following suit.
We went down into the tunnel to when we came to a 200 foot drop; I jumped, lading almost too perfectly, Gloria close behind.
We came to a large wooden door. Slowly, I opened the door, and what was behind it, shocked the hell out of me.
There stood Ramair and about another 100 newborn vampires, and at his side was a blonde petite woman. She was obviously a human. Her scent arose billions of different fires in my throat. I bared my teeth back, a growl leaving my throat, loud enough to stop everyone in their place.
“What is going on in here!?” I screeched.
‘You, what have you done!?” I asked pointing a finger at Ramair.
He didn’t answer.
“I told you I would figure this out! “ I said, walking closer to him.
“You vowed to me that you would never create another vampire, and guess what? Now you die!” I screamed at Ramair. I was now fully in his face, I pushed him down, in only a second’s time, I was impressed, I tumbled over him straddling him with my hands. I put both of my hands on each side of his face, and without a second thought, I twisted his neck, breaking all of the bones, and to make sure he didn’t heal any, I crushed his skull. Only to have brains and blood splattered all about the room, most of it got on my all black clothing, which I could care less. I was wearing black shorts and a black silky tank top, to show of my figure. I loved picking up victims like this, They take one look at me and then they are mesmerized.
Now, I turned to the blonde.
“I-I didn’t know what he was doing, I didn’t know that he had a wife, I’m so sorry!” The blonde replied, lying to my face.
“You bitch! Why’d you lie? The best decision that you could ever make would be to run away, but first, I have to have a little snack, you are okay with that, aren’t you?” I asked her, putting her in a daze.
“Yes” she said, walking over to me.
I brought her wrist up to my mouth, making sure not to let any of my venom sink into her veins.
When I was done drinking, I threw her out the door.
“Shit” I muttered when I turned around to notice that all of the other vampires had done fled. I guess I was too much into drinking her blood that I didn’t notice, You would have thought Gloria would have said something, But I think she has something up her sleeve that she’s not telling me.
I took Gloria by the hand and lead her out into the grave yard, and into the dark mucky browned woods, over the river and into my Cabin.
“We have got to find a way to destroy all of those vampires before they make dozens more” Gloria said, making a point.
“I know, you can stay here, for as long as you want, but now, you need rest.” I said to her, leading her up to my bedroom.
