So I know a lot of you guys are going to bite my head off for how short it is but hear me out, I didn't have a lot of time to write this and I really want Daniel and Tinsley's date to be sweet and special so I didn't want to rush it. I promise the next chapter will be longer and much nicer.
This is dedicated to SummerLoveForever who made an amazing cover on the side. It looks fantastic and thank you so much :)
I've had a lot of people making banners for me lately and I want to thank all of you. I'm working on dedicating a chapter to everyone that makes one so please bear with me because I literally have a list next to my computer telling me who to dedicate each chapter to. I'm not choosing favorites or anything, it's in order so trust me eventually you're banner/cover will come up.
Thank you to everyone who voted and commented and fanned on the last chapter. It means soooo much :)
(Sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes)

Chapter 27
Unknown’s POV:
“Are we ready?” I inquired, glancing at Henry, my Beta.
“Just about. All of our fighters are prepared and the third in command is ready to take charge while we’re gone.” He responded.
“Then what’s the hold up?” I didn’t miss the annoyance in my voice.
“We’re just waiting on more accurate accounts of the Pacific Rivers Pack and their numbers. If I may, I’d like to advise you on one thing.” I raised an eyebrow at that.
“Proceed.” I replied stiffly. It’s rare when anyone tries to give me advice due to the fact that I promptly dismiss it.
“And don’t just dismiss this.” Henry warned. That’s almost forty years of friendship for you. You know each other so well, you can tell what the other will do.
“We’ll see. Now get on with it, what’s the “advice” you want to give.” I put quotation marks around advice doubting it will be helpful.
“Now that it’s confirmed that Tinsley is Alpha Daniel’s mate,” I cut him off and glared.
“It is not confirmed.” I denied.
“You and I both know it is. The protective way he is around her, it’s a sure sign.” He argued, earning a slight growl from me.
“Continue.” I responded after a minute.
“Anyway, now that it’s mostly confirmed that Tinsley is Alpha Daniel’s mate, we must prepare for the repercussions that taking her will ensure.”
“Repercussions?” I repeated, raising my eyebrow again.
“Do you honestly believe that you can just take the mate of one of the strongest Alpha’s in the country and get away with it? Did you think he would just hand her over and say here you go, have at her?” He asked incredulously. I growled louder, not liking his tone.
“Of course not!” I growled out, baring my teeth.
“Well then, we must prepare for a fight. If he finds out that it was our pack that took her he’ll come after us for sure. And I have no doubt in my mind that he’ll find out it was us.”
“Do you think that really scares me?” I asked sarcastically. I fear no one.
“No, but think about all the lives you are responsible for as Alpha. You may not be afraid but if there is a war, many people are going to die.” He warned. I inhaled deeply and took a swig of the vodka in my hand.
“Then so be it.”
