REMINDER: Pray your salaah! Honestly I was having trouble with prayer this whole week... I was so annoyed at myself. Nothing worked. I tried watching as many lectures as I could. But they didn't help... So I opened the qur'an and I finally understood - IT'S CUZ I NEVER OPEN THE QUR'AN ANYMORE. -_- Anyways we all need to understand that understanding what we say in Salaah (prayer) is so much more meaningful :D

Assalamualaikum Warahmattullahi Wabarakaatuhu :D

I don't know if this fits 15 pages yet. If it doesn't, I'll add a little more to it :)  I'm just estimating how much I had to write and yes its late D: But if you guys can guess which scene from this chapter relates to Itazura Na Kiss (the Japanese or Korean version this story was based on) then I'll release another chapter tomorrow or the day after InShaAllah :D

I did not and DO NOT edit my work as you guys know :/ So there's probably going to be a lot of mistakes in this chapter lol

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuhu! :D

Samaar

The winter break had just started. Therefore my life back home in Canada was beginning to get on track. Who knew I'd miss Canada this much? Yusra and I were finally together. My family and I were back together and also... Sheath and I were together. Well more than usual that is. I wonder what drama's going to happen... well excluding the fact that at the moment I'm eating a really super quiet dinner with my in-laws... each and every one of them. After visiting Yusra for the day, my mom sent back my suitcase with Sheath... telling me I have to live with him. Does that make any sense? Well, it probably does for anyone else but... why can't I sleep at home sleep home with my family?? Well, not that Sheath's not apart of my family... but it's... I don't know... weird? But I'm sure Auntie would give me a choice to stay in the room I used to stay it, so I know it's going to be fine.

At the table, I was sitting next to Mira, and in front of Falak with Sheath to my right. It was a little awkward and I should probably say this from the start: I hate doing first impressions... It was quiet until the phone rang and Auntie (I should probably get used to calling her my mother-in-law) picked it up. It was my mom, and I could tell because my mother-in-law said her name under her breath. She came over to the table with the phone in her hands, and said, "Are you sure? What's all this about anyways?" My mother-in-law asked my mom. After a few seconds, she turned the phone on speaker. My mom started speaking through it. She said Salaam (Islamic greetings) and continued on. I was a little confused, but I didn't say anything anyways.

"Subhee..." My mom said softly, and everyone including Mina and Falak looked at him. "I know you waited long for Aakifah's answer, so I guess we should forget about the whole greeting part and tell you. But there's more to the answer than just a yes or a no, so I hope you'll be patient." My mom was talking in Arabic which meant this was serious. The only time she ever spoke in Arabic was when she was either talking to my dad, her friends or her relatives. But to all teenagers, she'd speak in English because we just sort of had that vibe I guess. But we, as her children, know more than enough Arabic to handle a full hour debate against an Arab person. At the same time, we're still more comfortable speaking in English. "Aakifah's answer is..." My mom took a long pause and for a second I thought (knowing Aakifah) that she had rejected his proposal, but my mom finished it off with, "A yes." Subhee was confused like a little child. He couldn't believe it, and neither could I. When I looked over to Sheath, I saw him trying to hide a smile. "But.. she has some conditions. And I'm sorry for it in advance. Well firstly, she wants to get married within this break." She stopped for a response, but then went on, knowing she wouldn't get an answer until she fully finished. "Secondly, she doesn't want any fancy wedding, just like Samaar." Everyone looked at me and I sort of gave a brick face look to them and they all turned away. Well, my reason was different. I didn't even know if we were going to be married for more than a day. Why waste so much money on something you're so unsure of? But why... is Aakifah asking for this? "And she also wanted to ask something from Subhee personally. But she's not telling me or anyone. So I guess if it's alright with you, will you let Aakifah talk to Subhee for a small five minutes? I'll be chaperoning them. Again, if you're not fine with it, you don't have to." My mom finished off.
