Diving Deep

I awoke to Heather glaring at me. I realised that I had woken up smiling. Smiling about last night.

 "Why the hell are you here so early?" I say looking at the time. "Calm down. Its only six. Plus I heard about last night!" She said winking.

 "Nothing happened he just took me home. That's all. How did you know about last night?" I questioned.

 "Your mom texted me wanting background info on him. I told her he's cool. Then she told me about your dad coming back last night. How did he get your moms number?" She asked. "Don't know, you should have seen Liam's face last night! He got so protective over my mom and I. It was really hot!" I said blushing a little.

 "You really seem to like him, don't you Soph?" Heather says nudging my arm. "Yeah, I really do. He doesn't seem like Brent was." I reply.

 "Sophie not all guys are like Brent and your dad. You have to try to see that!" She said in a soft voice.

"I promised Liam I would try. He hasen't let me down so far. Can I ask you a question?" I say. "What?" She says. "How did you and Tyler fall in love so fast?" I ask.

 "Don't know! It was love at first sight... I guess. How did you decide to like Liam, that's not you. The you I know would have said no." she said. I was speechless. I honestly didn't know. I start to speak. "I guess I changed. Like I said, i'm trying to trust people. He just gave me a boost. I really started to trust him last night."

"Whatever, as long as your ok! If he hurts you i'll tell Tyler to kick his ass!" she said. "You should get ready. I bet your excited!" She helped me up and I went to get dressed. We got to school almost in a hurry, I was nervous. I looked around and saw Liam. He started walking over to me, knocking everyone down with his muscular arms. That's funny, that's how we met! I thought. He was wearing a blue button down shirt that made his tan body look nice. True religion jeans are what he wore on his legs. I was wearing a lacy v-neck shirt that was pink,and my favorite miss me jeans. Once he got me he wraped his arms around my waist, going for a hug. I embraced him, smelling the cologne that he had on. I took his hand and headed for class. When I got there I turned and looked at him.

 "I don't want to go in." I say still not letting go of his hand.

 "You have to, plus I'll wait for you when you get out!" He replied in an assuring voice. "I promise."

 The rest of the class went the same. Boring. I got out of class and he was waiting for me, like he promised. He was really good at keeping promises.

 "Hey, do you want to come to my diving practice today?" I asked him. "I would follow you anywhere!" Liam says taking me to my next class. We met up for lunch, then finished out the day. His mom drove us to my house and I went upstairs to get ready. I put on the cutest swimsuit I could find. Through on a sweatshirt and headed downstairs. He was sitting on the couch ready to go.

 "Are you ready?" He asks. "Yeah, can you grab me my towel please?" I say. We got there and he carried me to the pool.

 "Was that really needed? People are staring, again!" I say wiggling out of his grasp. "Who cares! Let them stare but if they touch you they won't be staring at anything for a while!" He says sarcastically. I jump into the heated pool and took a swim. Almost a hour into practice and my coach, since I was the only one there, said I could leave early. Thank God! Liam tossed me my towel and I dried off. We got in his mom's car and left for my house. It was 8:13 when we got there. Liam opened my door and helped me out. My whole body went into panic mode. It was that car. The car. The car that made me want to cry.

"Who the hell parked that car in your drive-way?" Liam says, in a very unsettle voice. "It's HIS car! Oh my God what the fuck! Shit! My mom!" I said running as quick as a leopard wanting it's prey.

I bursted into the house, panicked, worried, nervous. I looked around the house, nothing was touched not a single thing. Then I saw the most horrendous thing I could ever lay my eyes on...

"Dad?" I said shaking, so badly that I could have started an earthquake.
