My names Sarah. I have dark brown hair, olive skin and chocolate brown eyes. I didnt have the best style but I wasnt a plain Jane either. I live in California. When I was six My parents and I was forced to live with my aunt Alice. I wasnt what you called happy. I was glad that I had somewhere to live but that was about it. Everyone that I got close to died. I dont know what it was. Maybe I was a magnet for bad luck.but a few years after when i was 16 my aunt died too and I forced to go live with my other aunt Jenna and my cousins elena and Jeremy.
I boarded the plane at bout 12 noon. I was already over the death of alice. I got used to death by now. It wasnt new to me. I sat in my seat and plugged in my head phones ready to drown myself in heavy metal music. Thats when I realise who just came and sat down beside me. He was gorgeous, yes, But I really didnt have time to waste gawking over him. Plus, he smelled alot like vodka. I tore my eyes away from him and leaned my head back against the seat. I was just about to fall asleep when he pulled my head phones out of my ears.
" Do you mind?" I snapped. I was quickly begining to dislike him.
" How arent you deaf already?" He said calmly but he had an annoying cocky smirk on his face. I shrugged and plugged them back in, only to have them pulled back out.
" Are you listening to Bodies by Drowning Pool?" He asked cockily.
" Yeah." I snapped." Whats it to you?"
" Oh, Nothing. I really like that song." I realised I was being a bit bitchy so I laid my head back on the seat.
" If you dont mind. I was kind of trying to get some sleep." That was my only escape from the pain I was keeping myself from feeling.
" How can you sleep? That song is quite dark and depressing." He smirked.
" Lets just say I like dark and depressing." I rolled my eyes and cranked up the volume alittle more and slowly fell asleep without any more interruptions from this annoying, but good looking stranger. I woke up on the song Sinner by Drowning pool. The annoying stranger was no were to be found, thankfully. I quickly turned off my ipod, trying to save the little battery I had left. I knew I would need it later. I slowly felt the plane descending, but the stranger hadnt come back. That was strange, normally we were supposed to stay in our seats while the plain descended, for safety.
When the plane landed I struggled with my luggage that was in the overhead compartment, only to be helped by the very annoying stranger. I took my luggage from him without saying a word. He touched my hand and I could almost feel the cocky smirk radiating off of him.
" Your welcome."
" Thank you." I mumbled and stumbled off the plane with my luggage.
I sat in the waiting area and plugged in my head phones and prepared to wait for Elena and Jeremy. I must have fallen asleep because the only thing I remembered was hearing someone say my name. I unplugged my head phones, groggy and annoyed.
" Elena?" I asked.
" Hey!" She said enthusiastically.
" Hey wheres Jenna?" She suddenly became uncomforatble.
" She had to take off."
" Do you know when she'll be back?" I asked hopefully.
" Nope." She shrugged and I spun around to pick up my luggage. Which was gone.
" Where my luggage?"
" Jeremy has it. Hes in the car. Ready to go?" She asked taking my hand.
" Yeah, sure." I let her drag me around towards the car. I got in and sighed. Jeremy and I exchanged friendly gestures but that was it. Nothing else was said. I once again, plugged in my head phones and listened to more of my depressing music.
We arrived at an average looking house, jeremy took in my luggage and I quickly went up to my room and unpacked. I was bobbing my head to Sinner when the ipod suddenly shut off. I groaned in frustration, knowing I would never find my ipod charger in time. I flopped down on my bed and groaned again. Without my ipod life sucked, and it forced me to think about things I never wanted to think about. There was a knock at my door and I unwillingly said come in, It was Jeremy.
" Hey." He said.
" Jeremy im bored. Is there anything to do here."
" We could go to the grill."
" Whatever that is im in." I agreed quickly. I took his hand as he lead me through the house and to the car. I got shotgun and we headed through this boring, dead town to the grill.
