Regina rolled her eyes as she watched Jerome walk away from them as he answered a called while his fiancee stood in front of Regina in complete shock.

"I'm going to assume you knew nothing about it right?" she asked and Candace slowly shook her head yes.

"Typical Jerome," she muttered under her breath. "I can assure you there is nothing to it really. We were young, I wanted to piss of my dad, he wanted someone to take care of him, and it was over in six months. The marriage was annulled and we went our separate ways." Regina said as she led Candace to a seat.

"I-I just need a moment," she said breathlessly.

"Of course, take all the time you need." Regina said before leaving her to find Jerome. She found Jerome in the lobby talking into his cell phone and she hauled off and slapped him in the back of his head.

"You inconsiderate douchebag, how could you do something like that to that poor woman."

"Still as violent as ever," Jerome said as he shook his head.

"And you're still as stupid as ever. How could you not tell your fiancée that you were married before?"

"Our marriage was annulled so it was like it never happened."

"So why did you tell her that I was your ex-wife,"

"Because you are," He said with a grin and Regina knew that he was trying to bait her into an argument.

"You know what you need to go before I seriously hurt you."

"Still have some lingering feelings left for me Gina?"

"Any feelings I had left for you walked out when you left me for that two cent whore." She said making him cringe. "Besides I'm spoken for." She said proudly showing off her engagement ring.

"I guess there is truly someone for everyone," he mumbled.

"Apparently," she snapped back.

"How about you go tend to your fiancée and make another appointment with the receptionist if she doesn't decide to dump your sorry behind."

Regina headed back to her office and gathered up her things, she had to grab a taxi and make it to mid-town for her doctors' appointment. When she arrived she signed in at the reception desk. When she took a seat and pulled out the book she had started reading. She had gotten through one chapter, when she felt someone touch her arm.

"Excuse me Mrs. Grey but your husband requires your attention." Christian said as he pouted.

"How long have you been sitting here?"

"About 15 minutes. Hello baby doll." He said as he kissed her cheek.

"I thought you had to work."

"I switched shifts."

"That was sweet of you." She said she hugged him. "I need to tell you what happened to me today."

"What?"

"That demon Jerome showed up at the office wanting me to plan his wedding." She said telling him the rest of what happened.

"Just say the word and I will end his life." Christian said clearly annoyed with the situation.

"It's not that serious, I can handle him, that's if they decide to stay. I think it was more of the fact that he wanted to show off."

"Show off what?"

"That he's getting married. Apparently you men have the impression that when you leave a woman she'll pine over you for the rest of her life." She said rolling her eyes.

"Did you tell him you're married?"

"We're not married yet Dr. Grey, but I did tell him. I even showed off my bling." She said admiring her ring.

"Regina Washington," the nurse called out ready to take her to the examination room. Regina couldn't help but watch Christian through the examination; she could tell that he was a little overwhelmed. As they walked out of the building Regina notice how quite Christian had become.

"Babe are you okay?" she asked as they climbed into his car.

"Hmm, yeah, why?"

"You're so quite. What's wrong?"

"Nothing, everything just became so real. Even after everything we've dealt with surrounding your pregnancy it just didn't seem real"

"Now it does?"

"Definitely. I'll admit the idea of being a father and in charge of this little being is overwhelming but I'm excited." He reassured her.

The couple stopped by a Spanish restaurant and picked up a platter of food Regina was craving before heading back to her condo. As they walked up to the elevator Regina noticed a familiar woman waiting by the elevator.

"Oh my god what is wrong with this woman?" she mumbled as she let go of Christian's hand and walked over to her.

"I thought I asked you not to come here again Melanie?" she snapped as her mother attempted to smile at her.

"I know I keep showing up unannounced but I really want to speak with you."

"I don't have time for you, I never will." She said as Christian caught up with her.

"Is everything alright babydoll?"

"Yeah," Regina said turning to leave.

"Hi I'm Melanie, Regina's mother." she said extending her hand towards Christian.

"Christian Grey, Regina's fiancé it's nice to finally meet you." Christian said shaking her hand as Regina glared at him.

"You're getting married? That's wonderful. I-"

"-we really have to go," Regina said trying to pull Christian away from her mother.

"Please Regina I really need to talk to you. I have so many things I need to say to you and not enough time. Here's my card, give me a call when you're ready to talk." Melanie said holding out her business card which Regina ignore. Christian took the card from her and Regina dragged him away as the elevator doors slid open.

"You should talk to her, she looked like she wants to make things right."

"That woman is nothing but a fake and I don't want a thing to do with her."
