I Am a Hell Hound

I packed, tears burning in my eyes threatening to come out. No. I will not let myself cry over him. I need to leave. I need to break free. I will run, Tonight, when they are asleep. I'll mask my scent and  run.

*********** 2 HOURS EARLIER***************

I got out of school and started walking home when my boyfriend Jarrod (soon to be Alpha and my mate) dragged me into the woods.

"Listen," he started off.

"We can and never will be together. I don't know why I'm stuck with a loser like you as my mate. I deserve better, and from this point on, I formally reject you as my Mate"

"W-w-what?" I Asked clearly cutting him off in whatever he was about to say.

"I. AM. REJECTING. YOU. AS. MY. MATE."  he said slowly.

'I thought you loved me!" I so close to yelled.

"Well, I-i did but- well- it was fun but I-uh-I dont want a mate" he studdered out.

I managed to hold back my tears before I turned around and took of Into The woods.

 I ran, I ran and ran and ran. 

"KENZIE!?" He called out after me i kept running not wanting to shift. I just wanted to run in my human form.

***************FLASHBACK OVER*****************************

I glanced at the clock only to realize it was midnight. I will leave around 2, that gives me two hours to pack my important belongings and that defiantly does not include my clothes. I'll but new ones at metro-town in Vancouver. I will leave. And I will leave tonight. I glanced back at the clock to realize it is 12:30, that gives me an hour and a half to write a few notes.

An hour later I counted the few notes i wrote. One for Jarrod, One for the pack, One for Sophie and Annie (my younger and older sister), One for my Brother Jake, And lastly one for my mother and father. I put the five letters on the bed labled with each name, grabed my luggage and left.
