Stuff I forgot

Sorry, it's not a chapter, but I wanted to tell everyone some things that I forgot and also to let you know kind of what the rewritten book will have that's different.

New Version will include:

-More about Blake and Hailey's friendship before they become a couple

-More interaction with the dogs

-More of Sophie, possibly with a love interest. Debating on removing Rachel from the story and having David be interested in Sophie. Sophie will then have Rachel's personality. I would like to know what you all think of that

-Jake will not have memory loss when he comes out of the coma, but he'll have trouble speaking and moving, which will get better over time. He'll have slight amnesia, but not too bad. I think this will be more realistic

-Song lyrics will be taken out because of copyright issues

-More scenes with Jake, especially after he wakes up

-Blake will NOT be getting his sight back. Sorry guys, I want this to remain realistic and the whole point of the story is to show that people with "disabilities" are just like everyone else

-Hailey will actually meet Cindy and you can see what her impression of her is

-Another scene with Blake's mom, after the talk show I think. Likely will have her leave her husband because lets face it, he's a douche

There will be other changes, but those are the ones most people were wondering about. If I don't get this book published, then I will put up the rewritten copy on here and enter it in the awards for 2012.

Couple of other things I wanted to tell you:

-Watch Ellen DeGeneres, she's awesome and I got the idea for the talk show bit from her, because she's the kind of person who would have Blake and Hailey on her show. It is one of my life goals to go to one of her shows. If you're American, try shopping at JC Penney to support her. I am planning on using the prize money from FTGO to buy something from their online store

-If you're bored and are good at descriptions, feel free to write what you think the characters should look like. I'd be very grateful, since I seriously suck at describing people's faces. I need descriptions of all my characters, not just the main ones, but feel free to do whatever you want. Just PM me if you write one :-)

-I don't do casts of my story because I like people to use their imaginations. However, I will admit that in my mind, Blake looks like Alex Pettyfer :-)

-As for a sequel, I have no plans for one right now. That being said, if I do get this published, I will definitely think more about it and try and come up with a story line

-If enough people are interested, I might write a bonus chapter that shows the characters five years down the road. It won't be long, but it might be fun to write

So, these are the things I wanted to say and I'm so happy that everyone loved this story. I've gotten some truly inspring messages from people with amazing life stories, and it makes me all warm and fuzzy to know that I might have brightened their days just a little. Thanks again for all the support and you all seriously rock. Oh, and I will let you know if I do get this published. It'll likely be under my maiden name, which is Shayna Blanchard, so keep your eyes open for my name :-)
