Turns Out I Don't Care

Nightstone Academy. Ha, that's an understatement. More like NightMare Academy. For the tenth time, I cursed mentally for allowing myself to get expelled at my other school. I didn't deserve to get expelled. All I did was slap the principle. And swear at him. And maybe throw a book or two.

But that was it. I swear.

And now I was trapped in this hell-hole.

Let me begin properly. I'm Ashley Blair, and before you get any ideas, I am not one of those stuck up cheerleaders. I ace in Math's and English, as well as science. Instead of going out to nightclubs, I read or watch scary movies at home with my family or friends. And rather than screwing half the school's football team, I preferred to stick to one, nice, steady boyfriend.

So you're probably wondering how I got expelled.

To keep it nice and simple, a guy demanded that I give him a blowjob.

Simple, huh? But when I said no, and told him to go away, he bugged me for, what, a whole month? That was where my feminine side kicked in. I slapped him.

Oh, and did I mention that we, the students, get suspended for violence? And since I was a good a straight A's student, I was suspended for longer than usual. That's when I attacked the principle.

To cut a long story short, I was expelled. And transferred to a boarding school, Nightstone Academy.

So here I was. Standing outside the iron gates with a suitcase. My parents had dropped me off, and was gone in a flash.

With a heavy sigh, I picked up my case and carried it over to where a guard was standing. This place was sad. They hired guards to keep kids out of trouble. The guard scowled as he saw me.

"Whad'ya want?" he had a British accent, and his breath had a trace of alcohol. So much for loyal guards.

"I just enrolled here." I replied calmly, although my insides were screaming at me.

"Oh. So you're new here, 'ey?"

I nodded and gestured to my case. "I, uh, just got dropped off." I said. "By my parents."

The guard glanced wearily at my case.

"It's okay." I assured him. "There's nothing dangerous in here."

He grumbled. "Follow me. And don't do any'ing nasty, 'cause you'll regret it." He picked up my case, and walked towards the main building of the school.

I hate to admit, this was a pretty nicely built school. All the buildings were made from red bricks, giving it a cottage style look, which was cute. There was a large grassy field in the front of the administration building.

Beside the school, was a small forest, which fitted in the olden style look of the school perfectly. This place was miles away from the nearest town, but overall, it was okay.

Maybe it isn't as bad as you think, I told myself, feeling a bubble of excitement wash over me all of a sudden. Maybe this is even better than your old school.

The guard led me inside the building, which turned out to have automatic doors. I was impressed. Then, he led me into the first room to the left.

A middle aged women sat in a chair, writing furiously on a piece of paper, was inside. She snapped her head up and stared at me with an icy glare, before putting her oen down with a soft 'thud'.

"Well." She said, in a fake welcoming voice, "Who do we have here?"

The guard bowed. "She says she just enrolled here,, mistress."

The headmistress raised an eyebrow, as if she didn't believe it. Then, she grabbed a thick bunch of papers, and began to flick through them, carefully, one by one.

I swallowed. All the other newly enrolled students.

Her head snapped up and she was staring at me again.

"Ashley Blair, am I correct?"

I nodded. "Yes."

She slammed her hand down on the wooden desk, making me jump. The guard stood there lazily, as if this woman slapped her desk everyday.

“You will refer to me as Headmaster Barton.” She said slowly, emphasizing each and every word. “And if you refuse to, it may end in a detention. Am I clear, Miss Blair?”

I swallowed for the second time. “Yes, uh, Headmaster Barton.” I stammered.

Her narrow eyes narrowed. If that was even possible. But she didn’t say anything else. Instead, she flickered her hand towards the guard. “Take her to her room, Derek, and make her feel welcome.” The Headmaster said casually, speaking as if I wasn’t here.

Derek inclined his head, and picked up my case again.
