Always

Gemma Vance has known Severus Snape since his fifth year at Hogwarts.  She was the one to pick up the pieces when he and Lily Evans fell out.  She falls in love with him, but he doesn't return her feelings.  At least, that's what she thinks.

When he and Gemma come face to face again after two years of not seeing each other, Severus finally decides to tell her how he feels, but he doesn't get the chance.  Gemma is targeted and he has no idea why.  She is kidnapped and silenced, thanks in part to Severus himself.

Feeling guilty for what he's done, he visits her in St. Mungos everyday.  He knows the only way to undo what was done was for Voldemort to die.  And when that day comes, he plans to be there to see her open her eyes.  Fate doesn't make that possible though.  Severus dies in the battle on May 2, 1998.  The very next day, the exact moment Voldemort is killed, Gemma wakes up.

She is devastated to learn the fate of the man she loves and soon finds that she can't live without him.  Everything she touches of his brings another memory to her attention.  Distraught, she turns to Harry, who knows what kind of a man Severus really was.  Sleepless nights follow and Gemma decides she just can't live without him.

What will she do to bring back the love of her life?

Hey, guys!  I know that I haven't even finished Beyond the Darkness yet, posting anyway, but I just wanted to put this out here and see how people will react to it.  I won't be uploading the first chapter until I finish posting Beyond the Darkness, but just let me know what you guys think of it, okay?  It's just a new story that I'm currently working on.  I've already made a cover for it...lol.  So if you like the sound of it, please vote and comment!  Thanks a million.

I JUST THOUGHT I WOULD LET YOU GUYS KNOW THAT I'M GOING TO DEDICATE THE CHAPTERS IN ORDER TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMMENTED ON THIS.  YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO ME THAT YOU ARE ANTICIPATING THIS STORY LIKE THIS!  AMAZING.  THANKS SO MUCH.  BEYOND THE DARKNESS HAS FIVE MORE CHAPTERS TO GO, SO I HOPE TO POST THE FIRST CHAPTER OF THIS ONE BY NEXT WEEK!
