Chihiro has spent years away from the spirit world. Not a day has passed that she has't thought of Haku and all the spirit people. All she wants is to go back, to be held by Haku, and have fun with her spirit friends. But something's happened. Things have happened in the spirit world. There's a boundary keeping Chihiro and Haku apart, people have been killed, and an unlikely friend comes back for revenge.
