Hey guys!

I know you're thinking about why I'm starting a new story when my first one is craving for some attention. But don't worry, this is second priority. As soon as I finalize a plot for that one,it's coming up.

But this story means a lot to me too! It's a new idea that suddenly popped up and I'm beyond excited to explore it!

Let the 'Parallel Universe' expedition begin!:)

I'd LOVE some feedback. Silence won't get you guys what you want.

Holly Evers was bored. The beams on the ceiling had already been counted and about a hundred sheep had already jumped over the fence. Here she was,at home on the last day of summer vacation. It wasn't exactly pleasant. She could have been partying over at Leah's house, but damn, homework was a kill-joy. It would have helped if she had finished her history homework of course, but still! The least her mother could do was allow her to attend the party, at least for an hour. But it wasn't exactly a lost cause. After a lot of pleading and convincing, her mother said she could go once the homework was over. So here Holly was, sitting cross-legged with the laptop on her lap, blankly staring at the white-washed word page.

She know she could do it. Holly resolutely tied her platinum blonde hair in a bun and put her game face on. Her history project couldn't be called bad- it was actually pretty decent for a high-school topic. "Mythical lands", that was what her topic was. Her lunatic, and VERY imaginative -in a crazy way- history teacher went giddy with excitement when she told him about her topic.

"There is so much you can do with this!Just ask me if you need help. I can just see you getting an A on this!Chop chop!" He had tucked his goatee and said. The twinkle in his eyes couldn't hide the excitement.

So Holly, with one excited smile had accepted the project. It was only now that she wished to have taken some other topic-World War II maybe? There was enough material on Wikipedia she could simply paste with minor adjustments.

Staring at the Internet page, she typed in her project topic, impatiently waiting for the results to show up.

The first few results were utter and completely stupid, to put it lightly. The "Do you belong to Hogwarts" and "Know which fairy land you belong to" quizzes popped up. So much for completing the project.

Minutes ticked by, endless keywords were put in, only to find nothing. Completely crest-fallen Holly wondered wether she'd be able to complete her project after all. Procrastination could totally suck sometimes. Replying to various messages her friends sent about her absence, she tried something different-"Parallel Universe". Various theories, suggestions and beliefs popped up. This could work out; she was only altering her topic a teeny-tiny bit. A lot of copy, pasting and editing later, Holly only needed some more facetious articles. She was down to her last promising site. Just as her mouse clicked, the door swung open and in ran her younger brother of five- Nick. A bundle of nerves and never-ending energy, he bounced on her bed and shouted,"Dinner will be ready in fifteen!Come down fast!"

Holly nodded a yes, but Nick wouldn't leave. His curious little side emerged and he peeked a look at the screen, amazes at the picture of planet earth surrounded by millions of stars and planets.

"Woaaah!"He managed to gasp out.

Holly just grinned at her brother. Nick was still the little kid who'd jump up and down seeing a candy store. She shooed her brother away and then focused on her laptop screen. Images popped and information was pouring out of the screen. A certain column made Holly's heart pump faster. Maybe the project wouldn't be a bore after all! She clicked the screen an saw the 'Real Experiences' page light up. The page was blank. Holly was beyond pissed. They were getting her all excited for nothing. It was only seconds after that Holly noticed a small, but noticeable box on the top of the screen. It demanded a password. Completely devoid of technological genius-ness, she tried the most obvious password- 'parallel universe'. Bingo! A fresh screen lit up the laptop. Kudos to the imagination of the creator. Feeling a little proud Holly stared at the screen. The small dot on the screen seemed to expand and then finally turned into a spiral. It was like one of those dizzying paintings that the opticians hung in their office. Holly's ceiling was suddenly starting to revolve, or perhaps it was her mind. She didn't know. All she could think, -and feel- was a black hole sucking her in. A gooey had suddenly appeared on her screen, completely consuming her.

Holly opened her eyes and took in the unfamiliar surroundings. After some close inspection she could tell it was her room all right, but it had certainly undergone some serious change. The sweet-sixteen pictures and posters were gone, replaced by a bland and boring wallpaper. Had she one into coma or something? The last thing Holly remembered was researching her history project. Some-something had happened. She remembered the feeling of her heart beating miles a minute as a claustrophobic feeling enveloped her. She remembered.

"Who the hell are you?" A deep, gruff voice growled.
