Prologue

Authors Note: This is my first book ever on wattpad! I would really appreciate some feed back and if you like it then I will upload more frequently! Hope you like it! You may find this chapter and the next chapter boring but I can tell you that chpter 2 onwards gets alot more exciting. (Hint in chapter 5 there is a little romance between the 2 main characters!) The prologue and the first chapter are basically the base of the story. Journal of Captain Edmund Watson

12th of July 1845

A Letter to my unborn, yet I know of her, Great Great Great Grand-Daughter Ariana…

Finally, after all of this time, we have found it. The Key… the Key to the Forbidden Land of Caribithia! Our journey has been tremendously long. In the beginning we had not an idea of what we would encounter. Creatures that no man could fight, land that no man could pass through, and the difficulty of losing loyal crew members, but while aboard our ship otherwise known as the ‘Vivamous Nox’ we overcame these troubling problems and ventured into the land of success and treasure. Although it is not the end, throughout this journey there have been some problems that could not have been easily fixed and better left. In three days’ time we will be sailing into the deep abyss of the ocean not knowing what is there and we haven’t the faintest idea if we will be coming back into what we know as our world. For this reason I have placed items in my tracks along the way; items that can only be detected by a certain person. If you have found this letter and can clearly read this writing then you are that certain person. You should be able to find these ‘objects’ easily. Once you are near them you will be able to feel their presence. Although you will need some sort clue to help you start. So here it is:

“In my ship you will find, a puzzle piece and treasure inside… down to the cabin and inside the world, there will be an item in the form of a pearl…”

I truly hope this helps you. You may also be wondering at this point in time why I am not able to tell you where all the items are and what all of this is about. This is simply because looking for them yourself forms a bond between yourself and the item. This will be great use to you in the near future. Danger is going to arise and I will not be around to see it. Unfortunately, you will have the responsibility to unfold this mystery and destroy the danger once and for all. If you have any questions make absolute sure that you find this first item, it will tell you everything you need to know. I am sorry that I couldn’t have been of any more help.

P.S This may sound like I have gone completely mad but you will soon find out that time travel is real, I have actually and successfully been to your time. Ask your Grandfather… You may think he is mad but he has more to him than the eye can see.
