Barney vs The Listers

Chapter 1

“You broke my blackberry charger!" I yelled chasing down Dylan at full speed in our two story house.

“I didn’t mean to! I needed a leash for band-aid!” He said while running into the washroom and locking himself in.

“You nutball! You could have used a string or something!” I yelled banging on the door.

“Now what fun would that be?” He repiled. I could tell he was smirking behind the door.

“I'm also getting you back for the time you made mom take away my Xbox for 2 months, and for eating my after school snack which by the way is rude because you know I need my nutrients..”

As he continued on and on about things I could care less about,  I grabbed my wallet out of my pocket, took out my library card and swiped it in between the lock.

A little trick i learned from watching breakout. I knew I was successful when I heard a click and a small girl scream.

I stomped inside and grabbed Dylan by the collar and shoved him against the wall.

"How did you do that!?” he cried frantically.

“Don’t worry you little rat, just know that if you ever touch my stuff again, I will show you another trick... how to make your fingers disappear. But, you need those preciously babies to play modern war far right?” I said with an evil grin.

He nodded silently, his eyes opened wide in fear. “Dylan & Violet get downstairs your breakfast is getting cold!”

“Saved by mother.” I muttered under my breath.

I let Dylan go and smiled to my self as I walked into my room hearing Dylan fleeing the scene.  He  complained loudly to mom about what I did to him. I knew she would be on my side though, after all I am older therefore he shall bow down to me.

I chuckled to myself at my dumb joke. I looked in my mirror and sighed at my reflection. Its not that I hate myself or anything I just look rather... plain.

I have long brown hair and green eyes which are my best asset. No one in my family has them except for me. I guess it was in the genes generations ago. I have one pimple near my eyebrows which is annoying me and an all right body. I’m looking a little bit fat in the ass but I could loose that.

“Violet come downstairs!!” Mom screeched.

I sighed and got dressed. I decided to wear my favorite black skinny jeans. I know casual for the first day of junior year but who will notice since I’m remembered as purple dinosaur.

Purple is definitely not in my wardrobe. I topped it off with my red vans and a stripped black and white light sweater.

I checked myself out, I looked pretty good. Since my blackberry was dead I couldn’t call my best friends Ruby Martin and Dakota Ross.

I ran downstairs and planted myself in a near by chair chewing down the nutella my mom made me. “Mhmm mom you've got to stop feeding me chocolate I might just get addicted to it!” I said while devouring the toast.  Mom smiled.

“You're looking a little thin, you need some fat on you.” she said.

“Yeah throw some purple paint on her and paint her belly green and let’s call her Barney!” Dylan muttered with a little laugh.

“Dylan!" Mom gasped. “Don’t talk about what happen to your sister a long time ago it was an accident!”  She said.

“Yeah mom I’m sure Harry Dixon stepped on her dress by accident because he missed a step but we all know he wanted to take a peep und-"

“Dylan stop!” She said sharply. You're probably wondering what Dylan my annoying little brother is babbling about.

It was a long long time ago, okay two years ago freshmen year to be exact. At Eastview High all freshmen’s are required to attend a dance to have fun. But it’s really held for us to mingle and a chance for some lucky dudes to score some girls.

I went with Harry Dixon because his mom Ms. Dixon suggested to my mom that we should go together. Neither of us wanted to but what choice did we have in the matter. Back in middle school he bullied half the class and tormented everyone. Including me!

The girls loved him because he was so badass. Yuck, they have know taste in boys. So as I was walking towards the school I heard a tear from my dress and I felt a slight breeze.
