"Love won’t be tampered with, love won’t go away. Push it to one side and it creeps to the other."

Minxie's POV

"If only you could see your face right now," Suigetsu said, laughing as he walked on the water and towards the island where this Karin person would be.

"For the love of all that is holy, stop talking, Suigetsu," I begged, shutting my eyes. I was so NOT happy. Because of my stubborness, the guys had agreed to let me come along with them.

Of course, one thing led to another... And now, I was being carried towards the island on Sasuke's back.

Can you spell awkward?

Sasuke walked across the water at a steady pace, seemingly unaffected by my arms around his shoulders. My legs were around his waist, and I prayed silently that I wouldn't fall into the water. Or, more specifically, that Sasuke wouldn't drop me.

"What? I can't help it," Suigetsu said. "Annoying you is just too much fun."

"So I've heard," I grumbled to myself, looking away. A moment of silence ensued. "Where the hell is this island, anyway? It's taking forever to get there."

"Be patient," Sasuke commanded. "We're almost there."

I groaned, placing my chin on his shoulder without even thinking about it. "But it's taking forever!" I whined. "And I'm bored."

"We could play a game," Suigetsu suggested.

"No," I said, pursing my lips at him. "It'll probably be some freaky sex game that'll end up humiliating me when it's over."

He grinned at me. "You know me so well, hot stuff."

"Unfortunately," I muttered, sighing. I swear, boredom is going to be the thing that kills me. Not some rogue ninja, not Madara... But boredom.

Suddenly, I got an idea. I grinned to myself, and Suigetsu raised an eyebrow at me. Sasuke was oblivious to all of this, considering that he was staring straight ahead while walking, probably trying his best to tune us out.

"Sasuke..." I whispered softly.

"What?" Sasuke inquired.

"Huh?" I said, raising an eyebrow.

"You just called me," He stated.

"Um... No, I didn't," I said, giving him an 'are you okay?' look.

"Yes, you did," He insisted.

"Nah... I'm pretty sure I didn't," I said. "What?" I looked at his ear. "Is there wax in there or something?"
