The Royal Woods

Soldiers cried in agony, the screams of dying beasts filled the night sky. Her infants soft cries as she rested against her breast, all the sights and sounds of war filled her ears. She was desperate, she was the Queen, and she couldn't just sit by and watch her kingdom crumble. No, she would fight! Kissing her daughter, she ran through the castle finding her mother.

"Just take her, we will be fine!" Queen Amisria shouted, shoving her crying daughter into her mothers arms.

Naomi, clutched Mis to her chest and ran. She ran through the streets filled with blood, ran by soldiers locked in battle with rebels. She kept running even when an arrow shot past her head, nothing mattered other then getting little Mis to safety, nothing.
