Asoka POV.

Kakashi and I spent a nice amount of time hanging out at the hot springs and talking with our new-found friends.

At some point we had to leave though, it was night after all!

I yawned as I plopped down on the futon, in pajamas and all, and scrambled under the covers.

"Bara-hime, would you like some tea?" Mussō-ka asked, hopping up on the covers to stand beside me. I shook my head. "Nothing?"

"I'm good."

Kakashi went out to make reservations at a restaurant somewhere near here. I wasn't worried, actually I was kind of happy to have some alone time.

Mussō-ka gave me a look, though it was hard to tell with the smiling stitching face; I could tell he was unimpressed.

"What's bothering you? You always want tea."

I gave a shrug. "I don't know.. I just.. suddenly feel upset." My hand stretched out and grabbed my phone from the floor, sliding it open and typing in the password. I checked my email to find one email from Kiki, labeled.. Goodbye.

No.

I'm not opening it.

I never saw it.

I checked every single email but that one and stared at it. No. I'm not opening it.

I slid my phone shut and put it always off. I closed my eyes with a sigh.

"Bara-hime..? Is something the matter?" Mussō-ka asked. I looked at him through teary eyes.

"I don't know. I j-just feel so sad."

He gave a solomn nod and walked over to me, patting my head.

"Do you want me to change the subject to something better?" Mussō-ka questioned, his plush face giving off a weird aura.

"..Sure I guess.." I mumbled.

"Alright. What do you think of clouds?" He asked and I stared at him for a moment before a smile began to make its way onto my face. I snatched him from his spot and huged him to my chest tightly.

"Thank you Mussō-ka.." I mumbled with a soft smile. He nodded and remained still. I let go of him and he steadied himself and leaned on me a little.

I shut my eyes with another sigh and burried more into the futon. Its so warm. I grabbed the edges and pulled them up to my nose and took in a deep breath of the smell.

It smelled clean and earthy.

I smiled a little, though I was still kind of upset, his smell was at least a bit calming. I found myself drifting off again and the lights in my room shut off. It was Mussō-ka who turned them off.

"Goodnight Hime.." I heard his voice mumble and then it was dark.

Kakashi stood in front of the woman, waiting for the receipt for the reservation he had finally made. Tomorrow night. She seemed to be taking her time, and it was starting to get to him, because he wanted to get back to Asoka as soon as possible.

The receipt finally was done and he took it with a bow, holding back an annoyed sigh.

"Thank you." He mumbled and she nodded with a shrug.

"Don't forget the reservation, and if you're not here within 15 minutes of the time on there, then your reservation will be void." She replied simply, staring at him with a bored expression. She had been arguing with an elderly lady whom believed reservations could be made 5 seconds before, and now had lost all faith in humanity.
