My Love For Her Will Never Die

And my love for her will never die

 Her sweet soft skin , against my cheek

 Brushing away any tears I may cry

 When the walls cave in & I become weak

 Her voice is the echo to the light

 My head on her stone I pray that she knows

 I can't blame her for losing the fight

 Love fills you with hope & then it goes

 Leaving you alone with no one in sight

 I've cried while others try to explain

 Why God would take you away from me

 What satisfaction could he possibly gain

 In watching me fall to my knees while I plea

 I tried to stay away but I always come back

 The world just isn’t the same without you

 Fractured & broken an unfixable crack

 I sit in the grass with nothing to do

 Talking for hours like you always wished I would

 Too little too late bounces around my mind

 As I tell you all the things I never could

 I thought I had time but I was blind

 All my wishes & dreams no longer reachable

 Like stars in the sky dead but still visible

 As the wind blows I swear I can feel you

 Your arms wrap around me & my heart becomes whole again

 My whole body tingles as I hear I love you too

Now get back out there & show the world what you can do
