Hello, my friend.
By the time you read this, I will be dead.
No more. Gone from the world. Body six feet under. Soul rotting in Hell.

I told you I would tell you the one thing I regret-ted. (I should put that in past tense, since I will be dead on this letter’s arrival.)
I am a man of my word.
Or was- strange to think of myself deceased. Makes the letter rather hard to write, or rather amusing to read I suppose.
However, my regret.
That I did not kill myself. That my life is to be taken by the hand of another. The needle of government. If I had killed myself, 747 people would still be alive. Families would still be whole at Thanksgiving. (Although I myself have never partaken in the holiday.) I don’t regret taking their lives. I don’t feel sorrow or remorse. I just wish I could have gone before my mother. That I wouldn’t have witnessed it. If I had ended my life before my mother’s was taken, I think, or hope to believe would be true, that her life would have turned out differently. Maybe she would have left my wretched father. Gotten the happily ever after she deserved. And perhaps Martha wouldn’t have had anyone to torment, and decided to become a better person, one who could have changed the world.
Yes, in my mind, behind the skeletons of murder lies a mangled thought of a better world, if I had left it sooner.
My actions will not change the world. There were not meant for that. They were for selfish itchy reasons. Only a few people can actually change the world.

As I sit here now, on my last day in existence, I am thinking of only one person.
Not God and whether he exists. Not Satan, for if either he or God exist, I will surely be encountering him.
Not my mother, whom I do miss dearly, and have since she passed.
Not my father, who, not ruined, but shaped my life and pointed me in this direction.
Not any of the vile victims I murdered.
Alas, I am thinking of you.
The bearer of my letters. I have been imagining how you reacted to the first letter. How relieved you were to read of my placement in this cement home. Of how you reacted to seeing this letter in the mail, days after my death time was released. Or, if these letters have been through the shredder, without a word read.

As I said, only a few people can change the world. With these twenty five letters, you have that power. Show the world what lies inside a monster’s head. What some of us regret, and how some of us are created. You cannot save anyone, any more than I could have stopped murdering my targets. It’s just not what runs in our veins.
But spreading my story will show signs to everyone, or who to be more cautious of.
Everyone acquires something that makes monster’s lust.
My something, was vile red.
