Carsons POV-

It had been nearly a whole week since the night of our date. It was Friday evening after school already, and I was going crazy. I hadn't seen or heard from her since that night. No, not even at school. I was worried, Declan was worried, her father was worried. Avalon had ran away. Nobody had seen or heard from her since she left the Eiffel Tower date randomly.

I didn't understand. That day, she had been having so much fun. She looked so happy night long. Rachel said she was fine during the day, too. I don't understand what could have happened.

"If you have any ideas where she could have gone," the police officer said "any ideas at all, let us know. I know you're worried, but we're doing all we can." We had called the police about an hour after nobody could find her, they made us wait 24 hours, though. After the 24 hours, they started looking. I was beginning to give up hope. She had been gone for almost an entire week.

I thought and thought about what could have gone wrong, and then it hit me. She was fine until her she read something someone had sent her. At the speed of lightning, I dodged up her stairs into her bedroom, quickly followed by Declan.

"What is it?" His voice sounded concerned.

"WHERE IS IT? WHERE'S HER PHONE?"

"It's in my room, she dropped it and I grabbed it!" We ran to his room.

Avalons POV-

*Flash back* I ran out of the amusement park as fast as I could, and saw a taxi near by. I ran quicker than I had ever ran in my entire life. I was going to Brian. I was going to sacrifice myself, so that he wouldn't hurt Carson. He couldn't hurt Carson. He had so much going for him. The world would miss him if he was gone, I would miss him if he was gone. If he killed me, everyone would be just fine. Right?

I stopped the taxi and got in, showing him the address I had written down. He knew exactly where it was, and he was ready to drive me there. I was so glad that I had brought cash with me.

The taxi driver pulled up outside of the house that I was once so afraid of. I was still so afraid of. I was afraid of Brian. I was afraid of what he would do. I had to face him, though.

I couldn't. I motioned the taxi driver to keep going, and I showed him a new address.

I had to get away from my life until it was okay for me to go back. I had to know that I wouldn't want to tell Carson. I had to never speak to Carson again. I knew exactly where I would go for that, and that's what I did. When I was younger, I loved visiting my grandparents house on the lake, it was about 4 hours away from where I lived now, and I hadn't been there in years. My grandparents had passed away already, and I knew the house would be empty. I knew I could go out on the lake to think. To free my mind of Carson.

Carsons POV-

Have you ever thought you've lost the person you loved most? Has the person who meant the world to you ever been ripped away from you, and you couldn't do anything about it? I can't stand this, I thought to myself, I have to find her. The text messages on her phone, they didn't scare me like they scared her. The problem is, why DID they scare her? Who was this guy? Why was he threatening Avalon and myself?

I'm not very handy with trying to track addresses, and find the location of something, but I knew I had to find her. I had to find out where this guy was located, and what he wanted with my Avalon.

"Have you found anything?" I asked Declan as he searched through the computer, doing a bunch of fancy tech stuff I was never interested in.

"No, not yet. I can't register the number to anything. I need to have a conversation on the phone with him to track it."

I picked up the phone, and dialed the number that had texted her.

"Hello?" The man on the phone sounded confused, and evil.

"Where is she?" I asked, you could hear the seriousness in my voice.

"Oh-ho," he chuckled a bit, "so I finally hear from you, Carson Kent." He said my name with disgust.

"I asked you a question." I said, and he wasn't oblivious to the sound of anger. "I swear to God..ANSWER ME!" I screamed so loud, I was in so much pain, I just couldn't take it. My hole body was shaking, my face was turning a shade of blue. Never in my entire life, have I ever wanted to hurt someone as bad as I wanted to hurt this man. I didn't know what he had done to Avalon, but I was going to find out. He was going to pay.

"I got it, you can hang up." Declan said quietly. He looked like he was about to cry, I wasn't sure if reality was just hitting him or what.

I waited there, shaking still, unable to calm myself. Declan tracked an address finally, and we weren't going to wait any longer. This guy, this guy that scared my Avalon so much, he was a dead man.

Avalons POV-

It's been almost a week since I've seen anybody I know, and I was starting to feel better. Who am I kidding, I'm feeling worse than ever. I thought by now, someone would find me. Were they even looking? Who knows. All I know is I can't go back until I stop loving him.

Why couldn't I get the memories of him and I out of my head? Why couldn't I stop thinking about him, and missing him. How could I expect him to be looking for me? I ran away after ONE MONTH of knowing him. If only he knew I did it to save his life. If only he knew I'd never speak to him again, to save his life.
