I'd never seen a train before, not in person nor depicted in any books. It seems like such an interesting thing to sneak into a plot, so I wasn't all too sure why I hadn't read of one. This was yet another new experience for me and may I say, it was already starting off as a fun one. We hadn't even boarded the beast. We remained right outside, watching as it rested before departure. I could understand why it took so long to take off and wasn't bothered a bit with the wait. But I wasn't the only one in my party.

Dominik had been standing with a small man in a box hat, fist flying as he spoke, venomous words filling the platform like some kind of attack. All the while I ogled the machine parked just before me. I had even gone as far as using him as a distraction to sneak past the yellow painted line and touch its hot metal surface. It was strange to believe something like this was even possible.

"Dominik!' I spun around, my palm still blistering from the slight caress of my hand.

His head snapped in my direction, every bit of his aggressive demeanor screeching to a halt just as the train had. And when he looked at me I could see the softening of his gaze. It filled me with the confidence to give him my biggest smile. I rose my hand as if he had any idea why and pointed at it. The confusion pinched at this bushy eyebrows but he ultimately shot me a gentle smile back.

That is until the train attendee happened to follow his gaze and find me beyond his magic line. My blood froze at the color filling his face, like a gauge, red bloating up his features until he blew his top.

He came at me with a shaking fist, words being thrown carelessly around as he approached blindly out of pure rage. He only got three steps before Dominik had him by his collar, heaving him back and off his feet as if he were simply some ragdoll. And standing beside each other that's exactly how the poor man seemed. Small and square, Dominik towered over him.

"Don't!" He spat into the attendees face.

That was all it took for us to be escorted onto the train ahead of everyone else crowding onto the tiny platform outside. They all watched us and muttered beneath their breaths. It sent a thrill of guilt and amazement through me.

"Is this what it means to be rich?" We had just settled into our private room. It was only big enough for perhaps 4 average sized adults to sit but he basically took up an entire bench by himself, his legs crossed leisurely and arm laid back along the frame. He seemed oddly comfortable.

"You don't like it?" His eyes challenged me, narrowing as if to catch any fault in expression. But I had no reason to spout falsehood.

So, I took a minute to peer out he window at the people waiting to board the train, even Kana who had stayed behind to hang off some strangers broad shoulders. She had been smitten with him immediately, and that was another perk of being wealthy and beautiful, I supposed. She wore it will, like the synched waist of her gown.

"I'm not all too sure how I feel yet." I sighed, watching her laugh like she were the only one in the entire world. "All these new things just keep flooding in, adding emotion and distracting me from the real picture of it all. I haven't really had a moment to really digest it. I still have so many-"

I stopped before saying the work Questions, my lips pursed and gaze shifting back over to his calculating gems. I hadn't forgotten all the things wrong with this situation, with him, but as if by fate, the world kept tearing me away from accusations to stabilize the idea I was safe with him. I somehow felt it in my bones, without any conscious explanation.
