"What was your life before this like?" She asks, once she's stopped wriggling around.

"My life?" I ask her.

Out of all things she could ask first, she asks about my childhood.

"Yeah, like when you were younger." She says, her shoulders shrugging.

"Hm." I murmur, thinking back to when I was younger.

Story time.

"Well, picture this." I say, I tug my arm out from under her and turn her around so she can face me. If we're gonna talk, might as well have her face me.

"What?" She asks, her brown eyes staring into mine. Her cheeks are flushed and her black eye make up is just a bit smudged from our just fucking state, and yet she still looks beautiful. It honestly makes me feel something that I haven't felt in awhile.

"Picture a family, a perfect family, a mum, a dad, two kids, everything was perfect," I say, remembering back to child days, "We were like a family from a magazine. The house my parents are in now, that's the house I grew up in. Dad is the owner of the electric company, and my mum, a pediatric nurse. So, we were pretty wealthy. Me and Gemma went to the best primary school, we got good grades, we were A plus students. It was perfect."

Allison nods her head, listening to my life story.

"I was...I was a happy little boy, yeah, I was. I was a Mummy's boy, for sure. It actually embarrasses me now, how attached I was to my mother." I say, shaking my head.

"Don't be embarrassed, it's cute when a boys a mama's boy." She says, smiling.

"Yeah, right. I'd always follow her around and help her around the house when she needed. Everything. Since my dad was always working, my mum was there for me a lot more. Except for sports. That's where my dad came in the picture. Right! On the weekends, me and him would wake up early and go to the park right down the street, and we'd kick the football around, or we'd play baseball. But my favorite thing to do on those Saturday's were when we'd go to this field, and there was a lake right in the middle, and he'd sit down under this tree and take a timer out, and he'd time me. See how fast I could run around the lake and stuff."

"You like running?" She asks me surprised. I nod my head.

"I love it. The way the wind blows passed you, how the world passes by you in a blur, the adrenaline it gives you when you're almost to the finish line. How fast your feet move when you know you're there. I loved it as a kid, and I still love it now."

"When you put it like that, it makes it seem almost fun." She teases me.

"It is fun, I love it. I joined the track team at my school and win almost every race. It was amazing. I was a little speed demon, it made me feel special. Sometimes Louis would come with us on Saturdays and we'd race, I'd always beat him, that little shit. Thinking he could run faster than me just cause he was a wee bit older, but I showed him." I say proudly, causing her to giggle, which makes me giggle, "But Louis was always better at football! He can beat anyone's ass at that, he's a machine."

"I see." She says in a tone voice that makes me laugh.

"Anyways, let's see. What else is there about me," I say, closing my eyes and trying to think.

"When did Louis move in with you?" She asks me, I open my eyes and nod my head, "That's not my second question by the way, you asked what else about your childhood." She points to me, making me smile.

"Fine, this is still part of question 1. Anyways, yes, my relatives passing. My Aunt and Uncle died in the Summer when I was about, 3 and that's when Louis moved in with us. It was strange at first, having him there all of the time. I didn't mind it, because I always looked up to him as an older brother, he was 6, and it was cool." I explain, thinking back.
