Love Sucks, Literally?

He lead me into a set of bulky, bronzed double doors, through the mansion. God, it was beautiful. He opened the entrance to the mansion, amazingly displaying golden-like pillars placed either side of the hallway. The staircase was made with pure white marble and the rails a coppery colour. There were hundreds, and I mean hundreds, of huge and petite doors branching off of the oversized hallway, consisting of boutiques and flowers, many photos of the family legacy, historical ornaments and souveneirs from all across the world.

My eyes streamed with sorrow-filled tears, scarring my face with memories I will not ever fail to recall. How could I think someone this treasured to me, could be so merciless? My heart stranded my body as I trawled out some kind of anticipation that persuaded that maybe the man standing before could be courteous.

He hauled me into a room, with no effort whatsoever, closed the door and, within a flash of an instant, stood there; glaring at me.

'This will teach you a lesson' He smirked, and grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, fangs extended from his mouth, scraping across the rim of my exposed flesh. He then speedily tore in through my skin, causing me to yelp out in sickening pain, the blood seeped out through my body, leaving me lifeless, and drained with blood. I guess this is what it feels like for humans.

My body not being able to support me anymore, unconciously drops down onto the cold, ruggid floor as my eyelids stoop low and my lips formed into a pale,thin line. My skin instinctively turns a shady white while my life slowly slips away from me.

Blurry-eyed I see the shoes of my killer, before I knew it I was heaved up and onto his shoulders, out to yet another destination.

'I'm not going to let you go that easily, you look familiar.' I could barely hear the little chuckle that escaped his red lips.

My whole body was strained with horrendous pain, as my head pounded rapidly. I groan in response, thinking it was a terrible hangover, But how could I still remember the horrific events that had played out yesterday? Guess it wasn't a terrible hangover as I hoped for. 

I lay under the covers of soft satin silk, warming me up nicely. I immediatley find myself in a room of the mansion the Royals owned.

I instinctively jolted up from the bed, not knowing what to do, my head spins frantically looking for an answer as to why i'm here, I heard faint whispers coming from the outside of the closed entrance to the room. I immediately got back into bed, not wanting the worse to arise before me. I have no idea what I was doing here, I thought I was dead.

I closed my eyes, seeming to play the figure of a person in deep sleep. The door slams open. I feel the wasp of cold, brisk air fill into the room as I slowly cover myself with more of the duvet. 

'That's definitely her! How could we not notice?! She's been working her for 3 years now!' Joshua proclaims, what was he talking about?

'Hmmm..I'll need a good look of her later, right now, we shall leave it until the morning. We do not want to wake her.' The same voice I had noticed earlier echoed in through the room.

Too late now, bastards. 

'Okay' Joshua groaned in response, the echoeing of his footsteps fading away indicating his exit of the room.

The other man, stands their alone. I could feel his stare burning a whole through my back. 

'It can't be.' And as those 3 wwords escaped from his mouth, he then exited the room, closing the door quietly behind him. I opened my eyes slowly. I knew what us vampires occupied, heightened senses, powers.

I understood why Joshua punished me like that, but the conversation they had talked about, made me wonder. I was confused and my body detoriated. I needed to get out of here, fast. I just wanted to continue the boring, old life I was chucked into. 

A load full of thoughts gathered into my mind as I comprehended what it was they were talking about. Hopefully, it dosen't include me dying at the end.
