Chapter Two
I shoved my clothes in the draws angrily. I was still annoyed about what happened last night, I should let it go, I mean it was just a kiss, a very sexual, passionate, fiery kiss that left me wanting -
I shook my head; I had to stop thinking in that way. My head was not thinking straight, ever since the ... incident. I grumbled as I unpacked my suitcases roughly. What was happening, I could still feel the tingles jumping on my lips and my fingers automatically traced along the swollen spot.
I clenched my fists as I tried to control myself; I really needed to distract myself from pesky thoughts of him. The thief. The thief, with his muscular body.
I sighed in frustration. I gave up and I flopped on the bed, shutting my eyes tight. An image of the thief's glorious body came into view, him standing inches away from me and only our deep breaths being heard as we stood surrounded by darkness.
He raised his hand slowly and skimmed my jaw line with the tips of his fingers while shivers ran down my spine and I relished the electrical sparks simmering after.
I jerked my eyes open and rubbed them vigorously. I needed to clear my head, my thoughts were tainted with him. I was worried about the effects I was feeling and I hoped they didn't stay for the rest of the day. I was never going to see him again, and I was happy with that - but he left a bittersweet taste in my mouth. A taste that was hard to forget.
There was a knock on the door, I idly got up and opened it.
"Hmm okay, what do you think of the bedroom, you know it was really hard to find everything matching and THAT greasy GUY- wouldn't even discount the prices when I kept telling him that it was far too expensive." A lady stated as soon as she marched into the room.
I stared at her in confusion, why was she here in my room. Suddenly she turned around to look at my clothes I was unpacking and started fumbling through it. "Your clothes are bonito. Your taste is muy buen." She admitted with a raised eye brow.
"Err... Gracias?" I hesitated.
Then suddenly she went straight into the bathroom, and cried out. I hurriedly went in to see what was wrong. She was standing in front of a plain wall and was shaking her head with her hands on her hips. She cursed under her breath.
I edged forwards cautiously, "What's wrong?" I asked quietly.
"What happened to the sword, that was supposed to be displayed here?!" she exclaimed all of sudden. I jumped back by her loud voice,
"Err... umm -
"I hoped they had delivered everything I ordered, but now I'm going to have to sort them out," she growled.
I needed to calm her down; she was a volcano ready to explode any minute. I walked up to her and stuck my hand out. "Hola, mi nombre es Roxanne," I said politely, giving her a small smile.
She stopped frowning and looked at me, then down at my hand and then her gaze lifted back to me. Her eyes widened and suddenly she crushed me in a bear hug. I could feel my bones crumbling, and winced at her tight grip.
Then immediately she let go, and I backed away gasping for air. "Dios mío. I finally get to meet Sobrina del Señor Ferráo." She marvelled.
"Sí, I'm my Uncle's niece." I indicated.
Her face tore into a huge grin and it was almost blinding to look at. "I'm Lolita, but don't call me a Loli or Lou Lou or something lame. Okay?" she explained.
"Okay." I squeaked, under her killer glare. Don't call her any nicknames, I reminded myself.
"Buen," she gleamed as though she wasn't going to kill me a few seconds ago. Then she walked back into the bedroom, and went straight to the wardrobe.
I followed behind her, eyeing her movements. She was in the small room, pulling out hangers and tossing them around, so I sat on the bed and waited, I didn't want to disturb her rampage.
