"Wake up fat ass it's time for you to get to school."  My sister shouted throught the door.  Well she's not my sister but my brother's mate.  I groaned and fought back the tears that threatened to spill.  They are always calling me fat and ugly and horrid names like that.  I was tired of it.  I wanted to escape.  I'm 16 and my brother and Alpha are best friends not to mention complete assholes!  So I'm gonna buy me a fast, expensive car and speed the fuck outta this place to my friend Harry's pack a little ways away from here.  Today is my last day at school and it just happens to be the Alpha's 18th birthday.

That dick.

He can't wait to figure out who his mate is.  I heard him and my bro Dylan talking about how his mate would be hot as fuck.  How nice her ass is gonna be, how submitting she'll be, how amazing she'll be in bed, the list goes on and on!!  Thank God my bro found someone just as cruel and vile as himself to mate with.

I finished getting dressed in sweat pants and a hoodie and went down stairs and grabbed a granola bar and left the house.  I don't have a car yet but I'm rich.  No one in the pack not even my own brother would dare to be seen with me so I walk three miles to school.

I finally made it to school and walked into the loud, obnoxious crowd.  I saw some of my pack standing near my locker.  I sighed and walked by them and in the process my arm brushed Lucas' muscular, tanned arm.

Sparks flew up my arm and around my body, sending pleasure all over and exploding in my most intimate areas.  Lucas' gorgeous, deep, captivating, green eyes flashed to mine.  Then written clear across his face was disgust.  He wore a grimace and it told me clearly he didn't want anything to do with me so that made it final.  I had this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach like I was going to throw up, and my heart was clenching from the pain of his ripping my heart out.  With my parents on vacation for the next three months and my bro being a dick as always and my Alpha Mate rejecting me, I'm definitly leaving for Harry's tonight.

School finally finished and I called a cab to take me to the car dealership.  I looked through all the sleek, expensive sports cars and finally chose a black Koenigsegg CCX.  The dealer was all like maybe you want a mini cooper or some shit like that.  I scoffed at him and handed over $600,910 cash, I snagged the keys and hopped in my new ride.  I drove to the pack house and went up to my room.  I already knew he was in there but I pretended like he wasn't.

"What?"  I asked annoyed as I dashed around my room to find all my belongings to take to Harry's.  That way I'd never have to come back.  I pulled out my phone and stopped for a second to text Harry.

'Hey Harry, I'm on my way.  Fucking done with this shit be there soon.'

Almost instantly I got a reply that had a big, goofy grin spread across my face.  'See ya then Xandy. ;)'  I laughed.

"I'll repeat my question.  What the fuck do you want Lucas?"

"I don't want you as-"  I cut him off.

"I can tell when I'm not wanted.  I've been planning to leave for a while, though I didn't expect to get crushed by my dick of an Alpha Mate.  But what could I expect from you, my older brother's asshole pal?  Well now I'm leaving and you don't have to be embarrassed by a fat ass like me."  I smiled at him.  "Bye Lucas."  I laughed and waved over my shoulder as I grabbed the last of my things and left my mate sitting on my bed with his jaw hanging open.

"Wait, Alex.  I just wanted to say..."  I waited for him to say something.  "You're fat and fugly, I hope you don't get uglier for the sake of the world's eyes.  And I will find someone else to mate with."

"And I hope you don't become more of a prick for your sake.  Cause Karma is a fucking bitch Lucas.  So watch what you say, wish and do."  I smirked and walked away.
