If you have never been flying on a Pegasus before, you have no idea how cool it is.
I felt free at last, free to do whatever I want and go wherever I feel. The whole world was spread out in front of me, telling me to choose anywhere I want to go.
"Dylan?" Ally asked.
"What?"
"Um, where exactly are we going?"
"New York. Percy Jackson lived in New York." Persephone told me.
"New York." I said.
"What are we even doing? Were you given a quest, or are you just running home?" Deason asked.
"Hey, I said you could come. I expect no flipping backtalk on this quest."
"So, it IS a quest? What do we have to do? Why are we leaving in the middle of the night?" Ally asked.
"Because it was given to me my my mother. Chiron wouldn't understand."
"Oh, so you know who your mother really is?" Deason asked.
"Of course I do." I said.
'Lie.' Persephone ordered.
"Uh, you were wrong. I am the daughter of Demeter." I said to Deason.
"You are lying. You are no sister of mine."
"Oh, shut up, Deason. What did Demeter tell you to do?"
"Find Percy Jackson. That's why I'm going to New York." I said.
"But, even Chiron can't find Percy! How do you expect us to?"
"It's the quest I was assigned to do, okay?"
Ally didn't reply and we travelled in silence until I saw the bright lights of New York City. I missed this place so much.
We stopped on top of a random Chinese restaurant and Ally somehow got the horses to go back to Camp Half-Blood.
Rain poured down from the sky, and I shivered in my leather jacket.
"Great. Now how do we get down?" I muttered.
'Just jump. I am also Queen of the Underworld, so you are actually immortal when it comes to suicide.' Persephone said in my mind.
"So I can never kill myself?"
'Nope.'
"Well that sucks."
"Quit talking to yourself, μαλάκα." Deason growled as he looked over the edge.
"Hey! That's rude." I cried. Wait, how did I understand that?
I slowly walked over to the edge of the building. As I looked over the edge, I estimated how far I was about to fall.
"That's about...30 feet." I guessed.
I turned to Ally, who looked worried and frightened, as if she knew what I was about to do. Then, I sent a glare to Deason, who looked just as surprised.
I turned back to the edge, closed my eyes, and whispered, "If I die, I'm blaming you," before jumping.

Deason
I stared at the girl in shock and confusion. Dylan Hunter looked over the edge of the building precariously, before looking back to me. I knew how high up we were, which was about 40 feet. If she jumped...
I heard Ally scream and my eyes shot back to where Hunter once stood. Idiot girl!
Ally and I rushed to the side and looked over the edge, where Hunter's body lay still. Ally covered her eyes with her hands and I turned away myself, raking my fingers through my hair. Hunter had committed suicide in an alleyway, so nobody had seen her jump, but her lifeless body was enough proof.
"Deason...?"
"What, Ally?" I cried in frustration.
Ally pointed down at the ground below, "Where did she go?"
"What are you talking-" I began as I looked down.
Her body was gone. Without a trace.
"What the-"
"What are you two staring at?"
Ally and I whipped around and our mouths dropped. Dylan Hunter stood before us, holding the trapdoor open expectantly, as if nothing had happened.
"You! You were dead! We saw you!" I screamed.
"I'm sorry Deason, would you like me to try again?"
Ally ran to Hunter, shaking her head wildly, and embraced the strange girl.
"Come on. We should get going." she said. I just nodded in reply as I followed her down the stairs.

Dylan
That was, without a doubt, the scariest thing I have ever done in my life.
I was still thinking about it when I hailed a taxi and Ally, Deason, and I piled in. Deason kept looking at me strangely, but Ally didn't seem to find anything out of the ordinary.
Dying was a strange feeling. Well, actually, it wasn't a feeling. I felt nothing. Not cold, nor hot. Not happy, or sad. Just emptiness.
I saw a man in a black hood, who was holding an ore. He had smiled at me, wickedly, before saying a single word. A moment later, I was gasping for air as I picked myself up off the ground and hurried into the building. My muscles felt relaxed, and I felt better. Refreshed.
