A Nightmare On Elm Street 2

''Hey Maddie.''

''Oh, hey Ash. What's up?'' she asked.

''Not much.'' Maddie was popular, and the kind of girl you would expect to be a real bitch. But 
Maddie was the kindest soul on the planet. She had long blonde hair and bvlue eyes. She could always tell when something was wrong and tried to see the best in people. Her mother, Genevieve, was nice too, while her father had divorced her mother and moved to Alabama. Genevieve had an older sister, Kristina, but Kristina was killed at the age of 18. Genevieve had only been 14 then, and was a young mother. She had Maddie at age 20. Then John sat next to Maddie and they kissed. He had dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes. John was an okay person, cocky but nice. It was sad; all of Ash's friends had aunts or uncles that were dead. John's uncle Dean had committed suicide at a diner. John's mother had grieved after the loss of her brother, and had John at age 30. Then  Kyle came in. He had brown hair and brown eyes. Kyle had an uncle named Jesse who was killed by his roommate. He had been put in jail for supposedly killing Kris, but was killed by his prison roommate awaiting trial. Later it was found out that he hadn't killed her. Then class started. During the middle of class, Kyle started falling asleep. Ash kicked his chair, but he didn't wake up. Then Kyle gasped and shot up.

''Mr. Walsh, can you repeat what I just said?'' asked Mrs. Garnay.

''Sorry ma'am, I wasn't paying attention.'' She nodded and continued reading from her textbook.

THAT NIGHT

Ash went to her job at the diner. She worked at the same diner her mother did when she was younger. Blake, Kyle, and a few more of their friends came in and sat down at a booth. John was sitting at another table, waiting for Maddie.Ash noticed him falling asleep, so she poured him more coffee.

''John, they'll kick you out of here if they see you falling aleep.'' He nodded. Ash noticed his hand was bleeding. She walked to the other table and took their orders. Then Maddie walked in.

''Hey Maddie, sit wherever.''

''Oh no, I'm just here to meet John.''

''He's over there.'' Ash pointed to him. Maddie nodded and sat across from him. She brought the food to Blake's table. After they ate, the other guys threw a few dollars and coins down and left.

''Sorry about them.'' Blake said. He put down a 20 and left. Nancy put the money in the register, then heard a spill.

''No no, it's alright, let me just go dry off.'' Maddie walked into the bathroom. Ashley wiped off the table.''

''You okay John?'' He nodded.

''I just haven't slept.''
