My Rising Sun (Completed)!!

Bella's POV:

I was laughing at Jacob's silliness. It had been so long time since we had had so much fun together. The last I could remember having so much fun with him was when we used repaired the bikes and rode them! There were a lot of people watching us, but I didn't care… I was having fun! And, I wasn’t gonna let anybody ruin it!


"Bella, I love you." Jacob said and held my face between his hands. I looked into his eyes that had totally gone serious…


I was frozen in the moment…

“Bella, I love you… I don't want to hear your answer now… Or ever, if you want… You need to know the truth, Bella… And I just want you to know that I love you… And always will… You probably already knew… And I know that maybe you don't love me back… Maybe you still like him… But he’s gone, and I just couldn't give you up without trying. To me, you are my perfect one…” He said every word slowly and clearly, like he wanted me to get it straight through my head.


My face was totally emotionless and my jaw dropped open, I didn't know what to say. When the light turned down again and the movie continued
playing, Jacob left my face and picked my hand. His hand was so warm… I felt his warmness inside my heart… And this time I didn't fight him off, I didn't want him to leave me. I wanted him to love me even more, because I was in love with him too.


The rest of the night was fine… We went to a restaurant for dinner… They ate and luckily didn't force me to. I wanted to talk to Jake and comfort him, but there were too many people in the restaurant and I didn't want to catch anyone's attention, so I kept silent until they finished eating.

When we went outside, we were walking beside each other. I stopped and faced Jacob…


Someday I had to tell him. Why not then?!


"Okay, Jacob… I don't want you to try anymore." I said.


His face fell and he stared at the ground…


"Oh… I’m… I'm very sorry, Bella… I didn’t mean to, but it's--"


"Shh!!" I cut him off, putting a finger on his lips. “Don’t ruin this.” I went closer to him, stood on my tip toes, and held his face between my hands, just like he did when we were in the theatre…


"Jake, I don't want you to try to get something which is already yours..." He looked at me curiously.


"Yes, Jacob… I love you too…!" And I pulled him closer and gave him a short kiss on his warm lips. He hugged me. My feet weren't touching the ground anymore as he spun us in circles in the air.

I felt so much younger and alive… I was so happy! My dead heart wanted to beat again out of happiness. I wanted this moment to last forever…


He put me down again and kissed me… A warm and passionate kiss…


I was completely lost in the kiss…


"Ok, stop now, or get a room!" Leah said, and suddenly I realized that we weren't alone. We were still in the street, with Leah, Quill and a lot of other unknown people too.



We were back to walking again, and I was holding his arm with both my hands just like a baby girl holding her favourite doll which she got from Santa as her Christmas wish. I was happy, and, at the same time afraid to let him go.



When we reached the car it was my turn to drive. Leah sat beside me and Quill and Jake sat in the backseat. After a while they fell asleep and Leah started talking…


"Wow!" She said, I giggled.

"Yeah, just wow!" I agreed.


"I can't believe he finally told you!"


"Why, did you know before?? Did he like… Talk to you?" I asked.


"Yes, I knew and no, he didn't tell me… We can hear each other's thoughts, remember?" She said pointing to her head.


"Yeah, that... So… Wait, why didn’t you tell me?!”


“Because… If I did… Then… Well… He wouldn’t have confessed!”


“Oh… Okay, tell me what he was thinking about???" I was so eager to know all the details.


Leah laughed saying, “Why do you wanna know?!”


“Leah!!!” I protested.

And then she finally told me…


"Okay… Okay… Well… He was thinking about you last week, I mean, he always does! But last week, it was literally only you!" Leah said.


"Awww, that’s sweet!" I said grinning.


"No, Bella, not at all sweet! Believe me! It's like watching the same movie over and over and over for the whole week... Every day, every minute!!!!" She shook her head trying to get the “movie” out of her head…


"Oh, sorry, Leah, but you know… If it was your favourite movie, you wouldn't get bored of it!"


She rolled her eyes, "Yeah, he told me that too!"


"You know, it's like what you do every time you come to sleep over at my place, and force me to watch "The Notebook" with you everytime!" I said.
