~Chapter eight~ Finally You're Home

Nate's POV

"John,Samantha we missed you guys so much"I heard my mother say from downstairs. My breath got caught in my throat. They're here. My Ally is here. I sprinted down the stairs and into the lounge.

I stopped when my eyes landed on her. She's all grown up and beautiful. Her long bright red/orange hair all straight and perfect, her beautiful red lips, and from what I see a to die for body. When I looked into her bright green eyes I felt like she can look into my soul. Something stopped me though. There was pain and sadness in her eyes. I felt my heart breaking into a thousand pieces. Why all of a sudden am I feeling like this about her?

I need to remember she left me and never said why. She hurt me and never was there to confront me when I went through rough times. But like always only one question was on my mind. What and why did she do all she did?

She looked away and I remembered that her parents and my parents were in the room. Mrs.Parker gave me a smile.

"Hey Nate, how have you been darling. I've missed you"she said opening her arms. I went to her and hugged her tight. She's like a second mother to me.

"I'm good thanks mom"I replied back. She told me to never call her Mrs.Parker and that I should call her mom. I still remember that!

"Son, how about me?"Mr.Parker said, giving me a huge smile. I went to him and hugged him just as tight.

I sat down and looked over at Alison. She wasn't looking at me but looking at the wall. She's thinking really hard about something. I can feel it but what she thinking about.

Suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks, Alison is my mate. Wait what?! She's our mate stupid. My wolf said. That's why it's killing you when she's away. That's how you can feel her pain and any other emotions. That's why when you look at her your heart beats faster and your hands get sweaty. That's why you can't get her out of your mind since the day you shifted. The bond got stronger Nate when you first met me.It got stronger because she's a special wolf.

After everything my wolf just told me. I understood it all now. I can't believe the girl that used to be my best friend four years ago is my mate now.

Why does she keep looking at me but when I look at her she looks away.

'talk to me please'I begged her through mind link.

She looked at me for a few seconds and then looked at her parents.

"Mom,Dad,James,Rosalie I'm not feeling well and I'm very tired I'm going for a walk then going to bed early"she said as she got up and left when they gave her a nod.

Like I predicted her body took my breath away. She's just so beautiful. My mate. I still can't get that thought in my head.

I waited awhile and then excused myself. I followed her scent. She smells like roses and vanilla. I sniffed more and now I'm addicted to her smell.

I kept following the scent until I stopped at the place where we both used to go when we wanted to be alone.

"Why did you follow me. Go back"she said not looking behind her. How did she know it's me.

"I can smell you"she added. Shit I forgot to block my thoughts.

"This is my place as much as it is yours"I said walking and sitting next to her but kept distance between us. She ignored me for a bit.

"Talk to me"I whispered quietly. She looked at me and I saw pain flash across her eyes. She looked down then looked up at me again.

I didn't understand what she's thinking of or what she's going to do but all of a sudden she got up shifted and ran away.

I was shocked. First I did not see that coming and secondly her wolf was the most beautiful white wolf I've ever laid eyes on. Also the fact that it's not common to have white wolves. I'm 100 precent sure she's the only white wolf.

This girl was taking my breath away with every surprise she threw at me.

Suddenly I felt pain. I can hardly stand on my feet anymore. This pain was unbearable. I screamed in pain. What the hell is happening to me!

That's rejection. That's the pain you feel when you're rejected. My wolf informed me.

Rejection? What the hell!!

She knows that you're her mate but she doesn't want anything to do with you. She wants to be mateless. She doesn't want you at all. My wolf added. I can feel his pain and now it doubles with my pain.

Why did she reject me Xavier? I asked my wolf using his name now.

The only thing her wolf told me is that the past can never be forgotten.

What happened in the past. I want to know! I was beyond pissed now. I just don't know what to do anymore.

I feel so lost without her. It pains me not be with her. But what hurts more is her rejecting me.

'I'm sorry for what ever I did'I told her through mind link but like usual no response.

I went back home and went straight to my room. The pain was still there and I just want it to go away. Another scream left my lips. My parents and the Parkers came barging in. I was laying on the floor now. My hands were clutching my t-shirt over my heart. I've never felt this kind of pain in my entire life.

"My baby"I heard my mother's cries.

After awhile the pain creased down a little. I was now on my bed with both of my parents.

"How are you son?"my father asked.

"I'm better now"I said back.

"What happened son?"Mr.Parker asked.

"Rejection"was the only thing that left my lips when I broke in sobs. Men cry you know!

"What does he mean"my mother and Mrs.Parker asked my dad and Mr.Parker.

"We're guessing he found his mate but she rejected him."I heard them say before I passed out.

I woke up to noises in my room. I opened my eyes and saw that my parents and the Parkers were still here.

My mother walked to my side and stroked my cheek.

"How are you doing now honey bun"she asked. I just nodded not able to say any thing. I went back to sleep an hour later.

Please accept me soon Ally, I can't handle this pain for much longer but mostly I can't handle being away from you.
