Chapter 1

Lavender Brown

Fighting got to keep fighting for the world, for me, for my country ,for my friends, for Hogwarts and for freedom. Strength and adrenalin pulsing through me as i used several spells on those horrible Death Eaters. Bodies of those brave soldiers that fought along side me in the battle for survival lay mutilated on the ground. Green and red spells sped past my head as i ran directly to the clock tower courtyard. Wand held tightly, missing a few killing curses by a few centimetres. My dirty blond curly hair wafting all over the place. My pink bow perched nicely on my head but slightly tilting to the side. Rubble sliding and hitting the ground when spells hit the ceiling and than it came falling down like rain but much heavier. Glass like little Cristal's lay scattered on the floor, cutting and scraping  against bare skin.

Suddenly a  person got thrown through one of the windows that wasn't broken, the person hit a piller and then dropped noisily to the ground. Blood pouring from his head. At least i think it's a he anyway.I crept closer to the person, kneeling down beside the body. holding there head until i realised who it was!

"Colin are you alright!"i asked desperately, stemming the blood flow from his head with my Hogwarts uniform.

"Stay with me mate!"i said tears coming down thick and fast.

"Lavender tell Dennis i love him, promise me Lavender,promise me!"he pleaded, tears now running down his dusty, dirty pale face.

"I promise Colin"i smiled tears still streaming down my face.

"Hopefully i would have helped bring peace and freedom to Muggle-borns and the country"he smiled with a slight grimace.

"You would of Colin, your a hero"i said.

"Who would of thought a war at Hogwarts. Hogwarts will always be my home"he smiled as the lights left his blue eyes and he became still.

"Colin,Colin"i yelled over and over again. Thinking i can't just leave this poor guy here, i dragged Colin's body to a spot where there was no fighting. I dragged  him over there and made sure he looked comfortable then left. I wiped a couple of stray tears on my sleeve as i thundered outside again. Giants swung massive clubs around knocking Death Eaters and our side through the windows and of the cliff. Running through the giants legs avoiding the clubs and also avoiding as many spells as possible.

I saw Dean Thomas fighting off Rabastan Lestrange with a stunning spell and Seamus knocking out Dolohov with his fists, which was pretty amazing. He turned around and smiled sweetly than turning around and shooting a green spell right at his head. I also saw my two best friends Parvarti and Padma Patil. Parvarti had a massive slash on her face and Padma had blood coming from her nose.

"Oh my god i am so pleased to see you two!"i wrapped my arms around them both, crying again thinking will this be the last time i see them both alive.

"Lav did you see Seamus!"they said together chuffed to say the most.

"Yeah i did he was awesome"i said dreamily.

"Guys i've got some bad news, Colin's dead!"i said unhappily.

"WHAT Colin's dead, but he's to young to be fighting!"they said.

"I know he must of escaped!"i said.

"Got to go, got to help Cho with fighting Yaxley and Mulciber!"they said together than running off in the opposite direction.

"Bye"i yelled over the screaming of other people.

Turning around i spotted someone edging towards me, he looked like a large, vicious-looking man with matted grey hair and whiskers. He had pointed teeth and long yellowish nails. He came closer and closer. I new he would trouble so i fired loads of spells which just bounced of him like balls to a wall. Panicking thoroughly now, i looked at him and grimaced but then a wave of courage came over me.

"Stop right there, don't come any further!"i yelled at him my wand pointed at his heart. He just laughed and then ran and pounced which then he landed on me making me topple to the ground.

"Time for dinner Fenrier"he talked to himself in a high growl. I gasped as he sunk his disgusting jaws into my neck. I could feel blood being drawn out of me as i got weaker and weaker. Nearly blacking out i saw a girl figure who i new was Hermione Granger the girl i always thought hated me and two other boys a ginger one which i presume was my ex-boyfriend Ron and Harry Potter. I could remember only a couple of hours ago all of the DA and many others were welcoming them back with open arms.

"Noooo!!"she yelled and with a big blast Fenrier came flying off me and then hit the wall with a crack. Smiling slightly at Hermione as she just stood and stared then getting dragged away by Ron and Harry. A wave of pain swept over me as i turned my head upwards facing the starry sky. Thinking is this it? Then the world went black.
