Ever since Titus and I almost kissed, I've been locked in my room like the hermit that I am.

It's Saturday and like every Saturday, I have a date with Castiel. I told everyone I was sick with the flu and no one questioned me but when Castiel came by and checked up on me and I quote 'you look like you didn't even get sick'.

He seemed really eager to take me out and to be honest I really wanted to go out with him. I need to prove to myself that I don't really want a certain bad boy and that Castiel is indeed enough.

"Of course our date is still on." I say with a smile on my face.

Cas' face instantly brightens like he was expecting me to bail on him. I suppose I made him feel that way being all distant for the past week.

It wasn't like me. It wasn't like us. Castiel and I always had the kind of relationship that people envy. We were happy and content with just having each other. I let that change just because some boy came into my life.

"You won't regret this. I know you're still recovering from the flu and you want to rest..," I cut him off raising my hand up. He looked so guilty that he was asking me out I wanted to kiss the frown off his face.

I pecked his cheek like I always do when he babbles. "I missed you." I say honestly.

He blushes like a little school boy. "I missed you too."

I smile at his cuteness before pushing myself off the bed. "Well go on then, Blondie. I gotta get ready for my date with my boyfriend."

Castiel scurries away, still blushing as he shuts the door behind him.

I didn't waste a minute, jumping into the shower and feeling instantly rejuvenated by the warm water. After I was completely clean, I hurriedly made my way to my closet.

I wasn't a fashionista like my best friend, Savannah, so I took a lot of effort when picking my clothes.

I wanted to look extra pretty feeling the need to show Castiel that I was still me even though I've been distracted and rather ignorant of him.

Castiel loved it when I wore cute innocent looking dresses. It reminded him of the little Gabi that cried because she dropped her red velvet cupcake. I cringe at the thought. Even now I'd still cry my heart out if I dropped one of those pretty babies.

I pulled on a cute yellow corset dress, loving how the dress clung to me. I wore some random flats before starting my hair and makeup.

After a while I was finally satisfied with my look and proceeded to stride down the stairs. Castiel was chatting it up with my mother who looked quite interested in what he was saying.

"Sweetie!" My mom greets as she saw me.

Castiel turns to face me, his face beaming happily. "You look breathtaking." He breathes out a small smile playing at the tip of his lips.

I smile at both of them as I made my way to where my mom was sitting. I kissed her cheek. "What were you guys talking about?" I asked curiously.

Mom instantly goes on about how Castiel made it to the football team. "Be careful of Titus though, Cassy. I've heard rumors about him." My mom never believes in rumors nor does she think Titus is dangerous.

No, I haven't told her about him being my mate but in pack meetings when the pack starts complaining about the Shadow Fangs, my mom would wave it off like they weren't a real problem.

I know for a fact my mom isn't afraid of anything and most certainly sure that she isn't really worried for Castiel. What was my mom trying to pull?
