Hey guys. Do you know how confusing it gets writing in both first and third person? This and my werewolf story are written in first, whereas my others are third. It can get confusing when I'm writing lol. Hopefully I'll get used to it soon. Anyway, I wrote this chapter because I'm still re-thinking Chapter 23 of "A Visit to my Brother.." I'm kind of being lazy at the moment because I had already written it, you know?
Okay...uh, here is chapter two. I hope you like it and...comment? I'd appreciate the feedback. This story is pretty much something to do when I'm thinking about "A Visit to my Brother.." lol.
Alright, I'm done talking...
Thanks and Happy Readings! (:

Chapter Two: Introductions and Old Friends
Libby's POV:
After leaving him stunned and practically confused beyond all measure, I continued on my way to the main office. Jax, however, didn't leave my mind. He was incredibly gorgeous. He had grown up from the lanky muscle-less freshman when I left two and a half years ago. He was taller for one-maybe six-foot or six-one. He wore a blue and white stripped button up shirt that had the 'American Eagle' insignia on it, fitted light-washed jeans and converse. His dirty blonde hair was longer, his bangs moved to the left side of his face, his eyes were still an unbelievable shade of brown, and his lips...he had a looped piercing on the left side of his bottom lip. And his voice...his voice was a lot deeper, rougher, yet incredibly seductive.
Stop! I mentally chastised myself. I shouldn't be thinking he was gorgeous-even though he was. And I shouldn't be thinking about how he looked at me. No, I should be thinking of ways to get back at him for putting me through hell.
Shaking Jax out of my mind, I walked into the main office to find one lady behind the wrap around counter. The name plate in front of her said, "Mrs. Caswell."
I walked up to her and said, "Excuse me, Mrs. Caswell?"
The aging woman looked up from her desk and smiled. "Yes? How can I help you?"
"I'm new here. It's my first day."
"Oh...what is your name then dear?"
I gave her my name and she went to type something on the keyboard. "I'm sorry but we only have an Elizabeth Fitz Patrick."
God, I hated that name. "That's me. I just go by Libby."
"Okay then." She did some more clicking and then got up to go to the printer. She handed me the sheet of paper and said, "Here's your schedule. Your locker number and combination are on it as well."
"Thank you," I said. I turned and walked out. I glanced briefly at my schedule and locker number, then shoved it into my pocket.
My locker wasn't hard to find at all. But, it wasn't going to be easy getting to it. In front of locker 127, there were three people casually standing and talking. As I neared them, two of the three people became somewhat familiar. There were two girls and one guy. One of the girls and the guy seemed...so familiar. When I was closer, I nearly squealed. Instead I ran to the closest person-which was the guy-and gave him a huge hug.
"Ohmygod, I can't believe it's really you!" I nearly screamed. Then I moved on to the girl and gave her a hug.
"Oh, Sera. Do you know how much I've missed you?"
Sera Chaney and her brother Caleb had been my only friends before I left. Sera mostly, but Caleb was always nice. They were twins and very close, so it was that Caleb was almost always with us.
"And Caleb...Gee, you look so hot now," I laughed. He really did look good. He grew out of his baby fat and replaced it with muscle. Not to much, but just the right amount for his body and height.
Sera and Caleb, not to mention the other girl looked horrifically confused. Then, Sera's eyes widened and she asked, "Eliza?"
A name I hate more than Elizabeth. I nodded, but included, "I go by Libby now."
"Ohmygod! I can't...no...how...I mean...Ohmygod." Sera finished by pulling me into a hug and squeezing.
"I take it you missed me too?" I said, almost out of breath.
"What do you think?" Sera pouted. She actually pouted. I had to laugh.
"Well, my dad and I just moved back. Indefinitely."
I chanced a glance at the other girl who looked nervous. "Hi," I said, starting and introduction, "I'm Libby." I held out my hand for her to shake.
"Oh, my bad," Sera exclaimed. "This is Caleb's girlfriend, Paige." Sera looked over at Paige and said, "Paige, this was-and still is-my best friend, Libby."
Paige finally took my hand and shook it softly. "Nice to meet you," she said softly.
