Here's the novella, as promised. I don't know how often I will be updating, probably just as often with my last book. I will try to make chapters longer, but since it is in the form of a diary, it can only be so long. Thanks for keeping me going with all of the on-going support of readers. I am hoping this book will have an equally positive reaction. Here is Chapter 1(:
September 10, 2011
Today is the first day of school, back to hell. I know what your thinking, a teenage girl who hates school, trying to find their identity. This is just your average school, and I am just your average girl. I am not as pretty as most of the girls, with my blood red hair, and dark green eyes, I'm different from all of them.
Back to today, first hour was easy. English had always been one of my favorite subjects. To make the class even better, the teacher was lush! He has choclate brown hair, paired with azule eyes that I often get lost in. He his arms were perfectly muscular, and abs could be seen through his tight dress shirt.
I was to class fifteen minutes early, as I wanted to talk to Mr. Carson. Surrounding his small wooden desk, were a dozen giggling girls, Spencer and Vivienne included. He looked amused.
"Excuse me ladies, I need a word alone with Miss Anderson." Girls sighed, and sent me dirty looks, slowly filing out the door. Mr. Carson closed to door behind them, throwing me his million watt smile. "Good morning Mr. Carson, what did you need to speak to me about?" I asked, suspicious.
"Nothing in particular, just wanted them to go away." He smirked. I rolled my eyes, and returned his smile. "How was your summer?" I asked, obviously trying to make the conversation turn from where I throught it would go.
It was the last day of my junior year, and I knew that I would be moving down to live with my father over the summer. It would be the last time I would see Mr. Carson. After the rest of the class had filed out and gone home, I creeped up to Mr. Carson's desk.
"May I help you, Miss Anderson?" he said, standing up. I reached over, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt, and smashed my lips to his. It didn't take long for him to react. He wrapped his arms around my waist, and leaned me over his desk. I smiled into the kiss, breaking apart, and smiling.
Realization hit him. I could see the shock in his face. I grabbed my bag, and sprinted out the door. I couldn't believe I'd just done that.
"Just the usual, and yours?" He asked, the thoughts clearly not crossing his mind.
"Good, H-"" I was cut off by knocks on the door. Probably his fans coming back for more. Class would be starting soon. He jumped up from his seat to get the door. Students filled the class. Mr. Carson greeted them all, welcoming them into the classroom warmly.
Class was pretty awful, the whole lesson Spencer Card, my partner, was gushing about how hot Mr. Carson is. Even worse, she kept winking and making sexual inneudos when he walked by. Gag!
Today was worse then I expected for a first day. Usually all of the other girls are all too focused on catching up and reminicing about their summers to speak to me at all, which would bemy preference. Seems as though everyone already had their bonds renewed by lunch period. Luckily today was the dreaded First Day Mixer.
The mixer was a day when students were given a number one through fifty, and you would sit at the designated table of your number. The goal was for you to meet new people and sit with a different clique of people. But since its senior year, everyone pretty much knows everybody else.
I arrived to table33 to be greeted by the familiar faces of Spencer Card and Ryder Baker. Spencer shot daggers at me as I took my seat on the other side of Ryder. She put her mouth near Ryder's ear and whispered something with a giggle. He gave a pointed glare at her to show he found no humor in what she said.
Spencer Card is the school whore. She's a vindictive manipulative bitch, especially if you do something to cross her. My way of getting into the war zone, is having something she's always desired. Ryder Baker. He could send a girl's mind into a frenzy, her stomach fluttering, and her heart on fire, that's what he did to me.
In previous year, Ryder and I had been very open with our friendship. We would talk during, after and before school. He came to school various days with bruises over his tan skin. He found some of the stupidest excuses. My suspicions went to his father. The rest of the day went by pretty mellowly. I could already tell that this year was going to be worse then any other.
