"Ivy!" Dad walked into the room and then just stared at me, "Wow..."

"Thank you," Sammi said while fixing one last part of my hair, "You would not believe how long it took me to make her look like this!"

I laughed and looked at myself in the mirror again. My lips only had gloss on them, my make up was very bare, and my hair had been curled and pinned back. I smiled, gripping the skirt of my dress. It was just perfect; it hugged my body in the right places, and was loose in the other spots. It made me feel beautiful. It was white, with a full skirt, and lace pieces. It was a sweetheart neckline, with little bits of lace around the edge.

"Sammi," Dad said while clearing his throat, his eyes were starting to turn red, "Can you give me a minute alone with my daughter?"

Sammi grasped my hand, squeezed it, walked over to Dad, and then whispered something in his ear before she left. Dad closed the door after she left. We stood there for a second, and I laughed but the tears started flowing from both of us. Dad walked over slowly and wrapped his long arms around. The scent of vanilla and cigarettes washed over me, as I clung onto Dad.

"Baby Girl," Dad whispered while kissing my hair, "Don't cry... You'll ruin your makeup."

I sniffled, "It's waterproof. You know that I won't make it half way through without crying," We both laughed, and he squeezed me again. I kept my cheek rested against Dad's chest and smiled. We stood like that for a minute before there was tapping on the door and boyish laughs.

Dad let go of me, and went to open the door. The sound of Hayden and Blake screaming playful filled the room, replacing the tone of the room from earlier. Hayden saw me first and ran over. Him and Blake started jumping for me to hold them both, something that I was now very skilled at. I held the two year olds in my arms, and laughed with them at whatever they were laughing at.

"Momma!" Blake said and wrapped his arms around my neck, "Daddy sent us here on a mission!"

"A mission?" I asked, playing along with whatever Ashley had planned for them to do, "What type of mission?"

"A secret one!" Hayden said, "Daddy said to find Momma and then to tell you that he loves you and can't wait to see you!"

"It was very mushy and ew-ie!" Blake squealed while pulling a face. I laughed and wanted to cry at this. We weren't allowed to see each other but Ashley still had told me that he loves me.

"Yeah!" Hayden agreed. Dad laughed and took Blake from me.

"How about," Dad set Blake down, and I set Hayden down, "Us boys go find Daddy and tell him how Momma is gonna cry from being so happy?" The boys started jumping around at the idea, and grabbed Dad's hand and walked down the room. As they walked down the hallway, I could still hear Dad's deep voice talking to his grand kids, "And maybe, before we find him, we can stop and get cookies from the kitchen! I heard that they have amazing chocolate chip cookies here, and they're always warm!"

I laughed hearing the boys talking, and bit my lip from crying. It was just so darn cute.

I leaned against the doorframe and watched Dad and the twins walk down the hallway.

"Boo," Ashley whispered in my ear and kissed my cheek from behind. I jumped, but laughed when I saw that it was him.

"You're not suppose to be here!" I laughed, "It's bad luck!" I hit his chest, but Ashley only wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

"Oh well," He laughed, and tried to kiss my lips. I moved the last second though.

"No, we have to save the kiss for the ceremony!" I laughed and kissed his cheek back, "But you can kiss my all you want later."

Ashley brought me even closer to his chest, and moved his lips to my neck, "I know we said that we wouldn't do anything like get each other a surprise, but I have something for you." Ashley looked up at me and smiled sheepishly. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a pale blue envelope that had white lace covering parts of it. "I have to go, but read this every time that you think about me." Ashley kissed my neck and then left down the hallway.

I walked back into the hotel room, and sat down on the little floral couch. Turning the envelope over and over in my hands, butterfly's swarmed in my stomach. The envelope had my new name, "Ivy Selena Purdy", written on the front in beautiful cursive.

I slowly opened the envelope and pulled out a piece of white paper.

"Ivy,

I knew that we said that we were not going to get each other anything, but I just had to do this.

I love you.

I know that it seems stupid because you already know this, but I truly love you. I can't wake up without you, you've given me things that no other woman could ever. You gave me hope, compassion, desire, love, and a family. A family, that's what we are becoming today.

This family saved me from self destruction. Sleeping with girl after girl each night, drinking away as I saw everyone else is happy relationships. Then, there came you. I had known you for a few years, but it was like I was meeting you for the first time. You were a woman, and I knew that I wanted to be with you, I knew it. And it turned out to be true.

And now, here we are. Getting married, with our family members, friends, and even sons, watching. They all get to see us say "I do", and see how truly happy we are.

I love you more than I did yesterday, or any day before that, but I don't love you more than tomorrow, as I will find more reasons why I love you each and everyday of our lives together. Love teaches you until you learn, and even if it takes long, it will take you where you need to be. And right now, I just need to be with you.

Ivy Selena Biersack, I love you, and I can't wait to marry you in a few hours.

Love,

Ashley."

I cried into my hand. That was so beautiful. I jumped up and placed the note in my purse, as I would be taking it on our honeymoon with us. Just as I did Sammi walked through the door.

"It's time," She smiled and picked up my flowers. She handed the cluster of purple roses and lilies to me and then linked her arm in mine. We silently walked down the hallway, and then rode the elevator down. We got to the main hall and walked over to the doors to meet Dad. Sammi kissed my cheek and went inside to go find Jinxx.

"Dad?" I asked while wrapping my arm around his. He grabbed my hand with his other one. Lightly kissing my hair, he smiled.

"Yes, Ivy?" He asked while looking into my eyes.

"You're proud in me, right?" I asked, tears pooling in my eyes, "I mean, I don't blame you if your not. I'm getting married to somebody almost twice my age, I don't have a job, and I had kids at eighteen. I wouldn't be proud if I were you."

Dad wrapped me tightly in his arms, I cried a bit but bit my bottom lip to try and stop, "Ivy... I could have never ever been more proud of you than I am right now. You stood up for love, even if to other people it seemed wrong. I love you, and I could never be more proud in you." We stood there for another second, me tightly wrapped in his arms.

We then got told to get in our position, with our arms linked, and his hand on mine. "Dad?" I asked again. He looked down at me. The people were about to open the door. The band started the opening notes to "Here Comes the Bride,". "Don't let me fall," I whispered as the door opened.
