(Jax POV)

I stepped out of my car and I caught a glimpse of Shania across the parking lot. My heart squeezed in my chest and slung my backpack over my shoulder, walking past her like I hadn't seen her. I trudged to my locker and leaning my head against the cold, cool metal. My breath made a wet foggy cloud on the door of the locker when I sighed against it. I felt two slender arms snake around my stomach, I was about to jerk away when a small voice mumbled against my back. ''I missed you, Jax.''

Grinning, I turned around in her arms. ''I missed you too.'' I glanced around and I noticed several people noticing us. I loathed never being able to show how I felt about her constantly but I knew how much it meant for Shan and I to keep our distance in public. ''Not that I'm complaining but what are you doing? I thought you didn't want to risk any chance of Cayden finding out?''

Shania leaned up on her toes and pecked my cheek. ''I don't care about that right now. I just wanna have a little PDA with my boyfriend, okay?''

I tugged her by her hand with me to any place that no one would be in before classes would start. I smiled and pulled Shania behind me to the library. Twisting through the book shelves, I made it to the very back with Shan in tow. ''Jax, what are you doing?''

''This.'' I slid my hands in her hair, pinning her up against a bookshelf and pushed my mouth on hers. She smiled against my lips, curling her fingers in my shirt. I got her as close as I possibly could, kissing her desperately. Shan and I were making out noisily when a loud cough made us jerk apart.

The school librarian cocked an eyebrow and wiped my lips with the back of my hand. ''Enjoying the poetry section?''

I nodded sheepishly. Shan was flushed next to me, her face bright red. ''Yes, ma'am. Quite stimulating.''

Her lips twitched, like she was holding back a smile. ''Just get to class on time and keep the noise to a minimum, I won't give you detention.''

Shania laughed softly. ''Yes, ma'am. Thank you.''

The librarian went back to stacking books while Shan and I erupted in quiet laughter. We intertwined our fingers and slipped out of the library. I kissed her quickly when the bell rang and took off to my class smiling so wide I thought my face would split in half.

I spent the whole day jittery and distracted so bad that when the final bell rang, I nearly cried out in pure happiness. I jumped from my seat, slugged my backpack on and ran out to the parking lot. I jumped into my car, pulling my phone out. Pleading, I texted Shan to meet me at my car.

Seconds later, she rapped her knuckles against my window. I rolled the window down and smiled at her. ''Hop in.''

She didn't object, sliding into the passenger seat. ''So, where are we going?''

I shrugged, buckling my seat belt. ''A place.'' She just smiled and turned up the radio. Every once in a while I'd find myself staring at her, pinching myself mentally. I don't know what I did to deserve her.

Shania grinned over at me. ''Why didn't tell me we were coming here?'' When I came to a stop, she hurriedly rushed out of my car toward the woods. I laughed softly, soon running after her. I caught up to her on the small beach outlining the lake in front of us.

My eyes poked out of my head slightly when Shan started peeling her clothes off. ''What are you doing?''

She grinned over her shoulder at me. ''I wanna go for a swim. Is it deep enough?''

I barely understood her question, I was too preoccupied staring at her. She was too gorgeous to wrap my mind around. I nodded barely in response. I heard a laugh before a shirt flew against my face. When I got the shirt off, Shania was half way into the lake in just a bra and undies.
