Harry + Luna Fan-Fiction "Harry takes Luna as his date to Slughorn's party"

Harry and Hermione are standing in the Great Hall.

"So who are you taking to Slughorn's party, Harry?" Hermione asks.

"Me? I'm taking someone I like, someone cool." Harry responds.

Luna walks through the door and heads toward Harry and Hermione.

"There she is." Harry says. "I'll see you at the party, Hermione, I'm going to go ahead and go with Luna already."

He walks toward Luna and grabs her hand and continues walking toward Slughorn's office for the party.

"You look beautiful, Luna." Harry tells her.

"Thank you, you look extraordinarily handsome." Luna replies.

Harry and Luna arrive at the party and Luna says, "I'll be right out. I need to use the loo."

"Okay." Harry replies.

Harry starts looking around for somebody he knows when Professor Snape blocks his view.

"Potter." Professor Snape starts.

"Oh, professor, I was just looking for my date..." Harry interrupts.

"No matter, I only wish to convey a message from Dumbledore. You see, he's travelling, and he won't be back until term resumes." Professor Snape says.

"Travelling where?" Harry begins.

"Oh hi, professor Snape. Hi Harry, I'm back." Luna says interrupting the conversation.

Professor Snape turns away and leaves, ending the conversation as Luna arrives and starts one.

"Did I interrupt something?" Luna asks.

"No, he was already leaving. I told him I was looking for my date." Harry says.

Luna blushes.

"I'm your date?" She remarks.

"Of course, this is our first date." Harry tells her.

"First date?" Luna asks astonished.

"Yes, first date. The first of many. I like you, Luna. Would you like to... would you like to be my girlfriend?" Harry asks her.

"Oh, Harry. I like you too." She says, jumping into his arms for a big embrace.

"I like you too." She repeats.

Harry holds her in his arms, looks at her directly in the eyes and slowly moves his lips toward hers and gives her a sweet, delicate kiss.

"A sweet kiss for a sweet girl." He tells her between breaths, looking at her with warm eyes.
