Cole's POV ♥

What on earth??

One moment I was excited and eager to ride the Ferris wheel with Tasha and the next thing I knew I was shoved inside the big wheel with no other than Xavier! Xavier! The guy who has been trying to steal my Tasha from me. The very guy that will be the cause of my death. The very guy who crush my future with the only girl I have ever loved.

I sighed and looked over to where Xavier was. And he just looked as surprised as me. I chuckled to myself. I did not expect Tasha to do such a thing. Pushing two guys both inside the Ferris wheel by the very girl they want to ride it with is just a scene that you do not see so very often.

"Did Tasha just push us both inside here?" Xavier asked with a frown.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Unfortunately she did."

"Awww! And I wanted to ride it with her." Xavier complained as he slumped down the seat.

"And so did I." I sighed, looking out at the view.

"You like her." It was not a question. Xavier stated it as a fact.

I faced him and shook my head. "Not like. I love her."

I saw Xavier swallow and look outside. If there was probably one thing in life that I was a hundred percent sure, it was that I am in love with Tasha. And the second thing that I am most confident about in my life is that Tasha is oblivious to my affection towards her.

"I feel the same way about her." Xavier muttered.

"I know. You should at least be happy that she sees it." I replied. If there was one thing that I was jealous of Xavier. It's the thing that Tasha can see his interest towards her. And that he can openly tell her his love towards her.

Xavier chuckled. "I'm not so sure about that. I'm not really very sure if she gets the message that I like her more than a friend. I see her as one of those dense and slow types."

I laughed. "She is. She's probably the most dense person I have ever met."

Xavier turned to me, his face serious. "Why don't you tell her what you feel?"

I sighed. "I wish it was that easy. Tasha is...difficult. Different. She is not like most girls. She values family and friendship above anything else. She has always made it clear that friendship should not be ruined by having feelings for each other. She's scared of having her friendship and family broken. And I'm her best friend and practically her family. She believes that if one confesses his or her feelings for the other and the other one does not feel the same way, it will make things awkward and will eventually break the friendship. If she believes in such thing, then I doubt she has ever developed deeper feelings for me."

"Fight for her." I heard Xavier say. I raised an eyebrow at him. "If you really love her, you will not give up without trying. Who knows, she might have feelings for you too. She's just suppressing them."

I laughed. "Are you actually encouraging your rival in love?"

He chuckled and shook his head in amusement. "I don't actually believe that I just said that. But well, I guess I don't mind a little competition."

"Just make sure you don't do anything to upset her. Because whether she likes it or not, I will not hesitate to beat you and make you regret the day you met her." I told him.
